okay, yes, I can see how this movie could be an inspiration for uh let’s say one of ST topics* (aside from playing with the topic of magic tricks outside of the plot itself; although they referred to Houdini once or twice, so it might be meaningful, at least Vecna is associated with this magician in s4 and it foreshadows s5).

I guess the easiest way to wrap mind around the Interstellar reference in Camazotz is that Interstellar depicted time as space, and in space you can uh move which can equal time travelling

but mb there’s something more, it’s just the upper and the most obvious level
