My son

I have had someone ask how my son is trans is he is still very young (he's 10).

Idk he just walked up to be when he was 8 and said 'I don't wanna be a girl',

and I'm like 'ok, what you wanna be?', and he said he wanted to be a boy,

and we combined the first letter of his first name and middle name, and got TK.

His sisters were like 'aight, cool'

I have been asked what my kids call me if I am nonbinary. It varies between 'you' 'parental figure' 'baba' and 'fwumps'. We do not know the true origin of Fwumps, but they all started calling me that one day and I haven't questioned it until recently. Baba is because TK (my son) got a temporary obsession with DC Batman, and found out about the Damien Wayne calling Bruce baba, and just adopted it. I was once 'Esteemed Deity', also of unknown origin, which was shortened to ED, and then I explain what an ED is, and they stopped. When bad stuff is happening or they need me to get them immediately, they call me Mother or Father

TTC UPDATES

Hi all!! Literally nobody asked but I'm here to share with y'all my ttc updates:

So, last cycle was a bust, it was kind of disappointing bc I was so sure it was going to work, but it's okay, we pull ourselves up and try again. I was confused and frustrated, because I missed my period but all my tests were negative, but luckily she came just in time, so I can properly track.

Next time we're planning on buying 2 MOT10 straws and inseminating two days in a row, so hopefully that's better. I've also been taking my prenatals every day!

What do I want to do differently this time:

- I want to start measuring my Basal Body Temperature

- I want to take and track my ovulation tests

- I want to take a pdg test to make sure that I ovulated

- I want to do yoga, meditation and exercize to keep me calm and distracted during the two week wait

Wassup it's ya boi and I'm panicking rn because I just realized the baby inside me is gonna need to call me something at some point and I just realized I don't really want to be called "mum".

Like obviously, being called "mum" would be the easiest way to go, considering it's my body he's coming out of, and my partner is going to be "dad", but also I am not a woman, my partner doesn't see me as a woman, sure my body was able to make and carry a baby but I've never actually associated that with being a woman at all during my pregnancy. It's only just now dawning on me that I'll most likely be refered to as the kids mum. Unless I'm presenting especially masc and people get confused, but I don't want to be "dad" either.

So I've come to Tumblr yet again with my dilemmas, and I'm asking for helpful ideas. Something my kid can call me that still feels and sounds parental but isn't too gendered.

We need urgent help so we can afford to see a doctor ASAP, our 4 kids are sick with flu-like symptoms while my mother-in-law, a diabetic, is still recovering from a hysterectomy from September 11th. We can’t risk her getting sick.

I regret to inform there are more of us who are showing symptoms now, me included. It’s 3 of our kids and myself so far.I can use my healthcare to get myself checked but can’t say the same for my kids. I will have to up the goal and I’m ashamed to ask for extra but affording a bed so we can set apart my mother-in-law so she can safely recover would be ideal, she is diabetic, recovering from an hysterectomy, we CAN’T let her get sick. She is our most delicate elderly right now.

It would be ideal to get a new bed since we’ve been all taking turns to sleep on the only one we have which has helped spread sickness right now and get more facemasks to help protect my MiL.

Yesterday we were so exhausted after the doctor appointment and then there was a bit of a mess/accident we had to clean off and use any remaining funds to find a laundromat I wasn't able to come here and update.

We did get enough to pay our bills, I'll see if I can pay them off today. THANKS SO SO MUCH!!!!! I would die for you but please ask for something else, I kinda want to see my kids grow up.

My partner has a jig cleaning, hopefully he will get $50 usd out of this.

I have to get back to care for our kids and in-laws while he is away.

We have not been able to see how much we need for the medication for the 8 of us who are sick.

Thank you I did pay my healthcare!!! I was hoping with the extra I could get my meds but we ended up using it for food and taking my MiL to the hospital because of gastrointestinal pain, she had to stay under supervision for a whole night and is scheduled for more tests on Tuesday. We’re pushing her healthcare services to schedule her for a gastroenterologist as soon as possible, she has been unable to eat which has been a terrible combination with her diabetes. Can we ask for help affording her ensure bottles so she can at least eat that? We’ll need to do something about the humidity and mold soon, we get trapped in the rooms often, last night it took us over an hour to be able to reopen a door even with both my partner and me pushing. We need to get adult diapers btw. Please, anything helps!!!!

You know, it’s real nice that we got help to pay the vet bills and help my kid keep his cat safe and healthy but wow. It is obvious we do not matter at all. The moment our cat needed help we got the goals, both times But I’ve been trying to get my meds for weeks or months at a time and nothing. It’s real hard not to fucking cry

I know it’s hard for everyone but please, keep sharing, anything ANYTHING helps. We’ve been getting a bit of food and paying little by little what we owe at the corner store but the upcoming card payment is $190 and my meds are $130 and then let’s not forget my healthcare renewal. I also bring bad news, we’re starting with water shortages just like last year, we’ve gone from having 4 days of water a week to 1-2 if we’re lucky. Our only toilet is busted and there are 9 people here who use it. My kid still needs attention for a UTI he’s had for a couple of months now. And my partner has 3 ingrown nails and 2 big cuts on his feet he’s kept unattended for weeks. I’d hate to up the goal but we need every help we can get!!

Need adult diapers asap, enough to fix the mold/humidity or at least to change a couple doors which keep getting stuck and help with taxis [transport to odd jobs and courthouse and suce]. Obviously my paperwork and court fees are kind of important, September is much more affordable to write a will and I really want to get that covered just in case. Sorry, I do not have my mind very organized lately.

(and all that is Not even taking into account the family need to afford the laundromat since don’t have a washing machine, and need to afford renting a computer [at internet cafe] to look for jobs, print documents and just beg for help when nothing works.)
