Cisn’t Pride Flag
Cisn’t (conjunction of cis and not): an umbrella term for anyone who isn’t cisgender (non-cisgender).
Similar to cisdissident. Note that not all cisn’t folks identify essentially as trans, i.e. they could be iso(gender) or ultergender, or simply noncis (cisnot).

Hi. So...If you dont already know about Nico Tortorella and Bethany C. Meyers you should.
Nico identifies as non-cisgender and also as bisexual, and Bethany also identifies as non-cisgender and as queer.
Oh also they're married and in an open/polyamorous relationship.
They got married earlier this year for $25.
And spent the morning of jamming to music, and Nico even decided to vaccuum because what else do you do on your wedding day?
They both basically say fuck it on a regular basis and wear whatever the fuck they want clothes wise. Nico regularly wears makeup and dresses, Bethany shaved their head.
How can you not freaking love them?
**Images are of Nico and Bethany from their wedding. Both of their outfits are very draped and white, similar to a greek toga. Both are also wearing crowns. Both images contain white/grey grecian columns and architecture.**
So I had a phenomenal coming out story today...
So i was with two of my gay, non-binary/trans friends (affectionately known as genders 1 and 2) and our straight cis bud
now my pal here is the purest, truest, most loveliest of allies and we love him so deeply
and so we also have this running gag of how he’s the only straight one in our friend group
and i don’t really know why but when we got in my car to go grab some hot ‘za, my brain just decided it was the time to come out as non-binary
understandably i was incredibly anxious, even though i knew there was literally no reason (i drove straight {lol straight} past the pizza place cause i wasn’t paying attention at all)
then on the way back he asked genders 2 if they had sent a video to “them”- them being myself and genders 1
and then my brain processed hearing them with a motion in my direction
voila
my golden opportunity
“Hey speaking of “them” you’re also the only cis person in this car”
genders 2 proceeded to flip their shit for the rest of the night at how smooth that was
also i know there are peeps i’m coming out to on here so henlo
i’m not entirely sure on pronouns right now so she/her is still fine but a they/them thrown in now and then is very very greatly appreciated
Trans and LGBT shit: Hey can we not?
Guess who’s lost a screw over trans issues
Can Tumblr stop saying shit like afab or amab and that shit? Like do you guys realize that by saying shit like afab non binary person, amab genderfluid person, afab trans masc guy or whatever is just as bad as saying a girl a boy whatever.
Because what you’re saying is that person with a vagina. Or that person with a penis. That’s literally exactly what you’re saying.
Just say a genderfluid person, a trans woman, an agender person. Literally? Like? Why would you say afab or amab? It’s just reducing people to their genitals just like cis people refusing to accept trans people.
Also just to add another thing: Tumblr people and ‘youngins’ you guys do realize that no other website/place/ irl place use words like afab, trans masc, trans feminine, amab all that shit.
Another another thing: making up new pronouns( this excludes taking pronouns from other languages, and things like zhe or xe which are formatted to be grammatically correct) *hurts* trans people and non-cisgender people. Because the fight those people face to have heir pronouns used is only amplified when people pull shit like making up pronouns. You’re novelizing people’s suffering.
Also on my final and most controversial note: -you have to have dysphoria to be transgender
I know you guys are gonna lose it. But listen if there’s not a disconnect between your mentality and your body you’re not transgender, maybe you’re not cis but trans is when your brain doesn’t match your assigned sex and there is actual science behind it. I’m not saying people should hate themselves but there needs to be a disconnect and conflict between the brain and the body because the society we live in says one body is one thing which polarized it and makes dysphoria a necessity to be trans. By saying you don’t have to have it you’re cheapening my struggle you make it ten times harder to get hormones and surgeries.
-nonbinary, genderfluid, agender and other genders are not transgender.
Transgender is the difference in your mental gender and brain and what your body has physically been assigned to. There is a change from one 'side’ of the spectrum to the other so that these match up and you can have an easier life once they do. Other genders are not this. It is not a transition from one side to the other. By no means am I saying those people are cis they’re just not trans. And I’m not saying this in reference to tdov, I honestly welcome all non-cis people to participate in that and tdor. But it’s incredibly frustrating for genderqueer people to speak on specifically trans issues that do not directly effect them and that they don’t have the expirience or the right to talk about.
All of this comes as a final straw because my university’s student LGBT+ body is like irl tumblr and they are so completely ridiculous and don’t see the wrong in it.
To be honest I’m terrified of what Tumblr is going to do to LGBT+ youth who are forming in this and think all this crazy behavior on here is okay and normal and continued this lunacy into the real world.
Non-Cisgender Research Project
I normally don’t post stuff like this, so please bear with me:
I’m working on a research project for a college class, and I’m focusing on the effects of correctly gendered language on non-cisgender people in an educational context- essentially, how gendered language effects non-cis students.
I’m asking any non-cisgender people who are interested- you don’t have to be a current student- to DM me so I can get a wide range of information. No identifying information would be recorded- only a pseudonym, your gender/pronouns, and your answers.
If you have any more questions, please let me know! I’m really hoping I get a lot of people to answer so I can have a wide range of information.
My heart goes out to non-cis people who still have to deal with periods.
