If you are in an organisation, and witness/are a victim of/discover a crime done by a member of that organisation, whether against you or someone else, or against the organisation itself, and you then go to the leadership of the organisation, or people you trust within the organsation, and tell them of this crime, and they then respond by using some method of 'Oh, we'll use our internal disputes process' or 'Oh, well, you should contact a lawyer' or any other thing that is not advising you to contact relevant secular authorities or contacting them immediately (usually whatever passes for police in your jurisdiction, however problematic police may be in your jurisdiciton (and caveats apply if Police in your jurisdiction are just another gang, unfortunately, but I am assuming some sort of rule of law...)), then you are about to be thrown under the bus and the crime covered up.
