commonplace updates + learning again and again that nothing motivates me to focus on studying as taking my time in the morning to slow down and do the things, the superfluous unproductive things, that i find joy in 🌱

i’ve been consuming an increasing amount of tea, wearing cardigans and waking up to the sound of rain, which is to say: i’m experiencing autumn in seville and my heart is full 🌾
sometimes the realization of time passing gets overwhelming; usually in the meditation of a long-held yoga pose, when the nostalgia steadily hits and outside the sun is setting and i want to capture it all (the view, the sound of slow breathing, the longing for familiar touch)

it’s weird for me to gradually realize my passion in psychology lies mostly in its stem side, while in my mental narrative, i am not fit for it. from my five subjects, two are stats courses and one a psychobiology course, and they bring a mixture of excitement and anxiety in my studying 🌾📖
