...Are not always ableist. Maybe they're undiagnosed but have seen the term online and have chosen it because it relates to their experiences with how they enjoy their hobbies.

Now if they are fully aware of the term and just using it to instead try to diminish people's experiences with their hyperfixations and compare it to "just a hobby"? Ableism.

I haven't seen any of the "Invisigirl is a complex female character" arguments in here, but I have seen people attempt to use her insecurity regarding her past and her powers as excuses for her abrasive personality.

Look, I'm all for characters who hide behind an asshole persona to protect themselves. Flambae is my favourite character in the entire game; I am not opposed to characters being awful because they've got issues. What I am opposed to is when their personality and behaviours receive no criticism or consequences, and the story treats their backstory context as justification.

Invisigirl doesn't suffer repercussions for harassing Robert. The story goes out of its way to portray her as a victim of circumstance and your bad choices. If you don't defend her — which is well within your right considering her inability to co-operate with the team or have any foresight does pose a major risk to their safety and the success of missions — she becomes a criminal and it's YOUR fault for not doing better by her (grown ass woman btw, well into her twenties). She was ready to watch Robert strip naked, told the Z-team that she had seen his semi-naked body and shared personal information, constantly sexually harasses him, doesn't defend him when Malevola gropes him twice (that scene is so fucking gross), and was fully prepared to disregard his consent until he physically forced her to stop kissing him.

If the game gave one line regarding how she mistreated Robert and how she really needs to reconsider how she approached people and boundaries, I'd be a little more lenient with her, but she and this whole game treat male sa as a joke, or like it's "sexy". The bar isn't on the floor anymore, ad-hoc isn't allowed to get away with this kind of shit.

They wanted complexity but instead, in my opinion, they gave an immature character who takes zero accountability for her shitty actions. I'm glad more people are criticising her character.

So, to preface this opinion post, I am very much pro-vax. I am just anti-covid vaccine due to the way it was handled.

They did not have the chance to fully test everything due to the Emergency Use Authorization. Ok, that's fine. However, the different vaccines also didn't list out the risks like would have been required for any other medications or vaccines.

This is why I am against the covid vaccine. I have a clotting disorder (prothrombin factor II), so it would have been very important for me to know about the clotting risk before getting the vaccines. I got the initial two doses, and that's it. After those two doses was when the clotting risks started to get leaked and reduced my trust in the covid vaccines.

You should read about every medication and vaccine you put in your body before you put it into your body. Understand the risks, and weigh them against the benefits. In this case I couldn't do so, and in the process was risking an awful lot. My doctors won't even let me have the normal dose of estradiol patches due to this, and I was expected to take a vaccine that increased that risk without being able to know it was doing so?

And that's why I am anti-covid vaccine. I will not get another dose until a version without this risk comes out (which will likely be when a traditional vaccine comes out). Again, this doesn't mean I am anti-vax. I am just against this specific vaccine.

Where as in the Deltarune universe, the light world is more like earth but with less...humans? More furries? There's probably human towns but they like. Try not to interact. There was never a sealing spell underground

The monsters and human souls are more mundane and normal so like. HELP.

Okay but also like. Neutral endings. See how Alphys is overly critcized(by either allistic or misogynistic fans) but she rules the underground just fine, and with positive reviews & amalgamations got to be happy with their families again in the best ending. While, if you kill Mettaton, and Alphys disappears, Undyne is described as vehement and like a vengeful sailor making the underground more violent toward humans than Asgore's rule. Alphys is such a good influence on her but only if she keeps her self alive...

But now Undyne's being SACRIFICED before her "character development" with Alphys can start cuz they JUST MET and hit it off well and now Alphys thinks she's been ghosted before the terrible news drops. This better be a good plot point cuz why'd you do her so dirty 😔
