Tum and Oh‘s dynamic is just too good
Only 4 more to visit before the end and you bet Tum and Oh won't be the same after this trip.
'Imma need everyone to go watch MuTeLuv: Love Me If You Swear RIGHT NOW! This mini-series is a microcosm of rivals to lovers perfection, it is rewiring my brain with every episode!
(Or actually— wait until next Monday when the final episode comes out so you can binge-watch the whole thing at once. Waiting week-to-week has me climbing the walls, don't subject yourself to that.)
Wrestling over a pair of pants in the Kissy Motel... because priorities are... priorities? I think?
Episode 2 in a nutshell
Oh is right, Tum isn't really cut to be a gang leader. In fact, I believe that Tum isn't really looking for anything else than being respected. Among the gang, before being the leader, people saw him as a loser and it probably hurt his pride. He wanted to show people that he could be more than what they believe he was. Is it really the right way to do it? Not really, but at least it's giving him a purpose, something to hold into. Deep down, Tum is a softie with a big heart. If being the leader was truly his true dream he would have stolen Oh's pants while he was sleeping. However, he didn't. He went out to buy something to eat for Oh. Tum will probably need to realize that there are better dreams out there to have.
As for Oh, he is also pretending to be without any fear. He said he can fight, he doesn't mind arguing with people and he is very vocal about what he thinks. When Tum was trying everything to steal his pant, he knew it and he wasn't really afraid Tum would succeed. He had the upper hand. However, when he woke up in the motel room after sleeping with Tum and he didn't see him, that's the first time we saw him vulnerable. He was surprised when he saw Tum came with food. Perhaps, he was afraid that everything last night was just some kinds of one night stand. I think it shows that Oh's wish may have something with love (love for Tum?) and that his bravado is also a facade.
