I have just finished the fruit but have still got some chocolate You really must have been very busy lately if you have been doing office work Which photos are you going to get? The full face or the profile. With my present music master, at the full rate, the lessons are 10/6 [10 shilling 6 pence] each, isn't it an awful price? He gave ws us a very good Beethoven concert last night. He plays brilliantly. He played Op 27 no 1, no 2 (The Moonlight Sonata) and I have forgotten the third. You would love to listen to him. The eyes exercises are I think very helpful, especially the palming one. Do you do them? If you get some wool for a cardigan please get a pattern. I should love to knit you one. I should like a plain blue wool for my scarf, I think the knop wool would be to rough and colours would not go well with it. I think green and black would go very nicely with it. I have finished the back and front of my jumper. I did it on no 12 needles. It fits perfectly, but I want it a little wider so I am going to undo it all. I thought of putting two gussets in, it would not show, but then I thought, if a thing is worth doing it is worth doing well, so it is coming undone. If you see any more nice wools for pocko[?] you can get some, I really think it is a good investment knitting now. Witt much love from Maeve

I really enjoyed painting his hair and I think I could have added more shines in his eyes but I just put one small shine to make his gaze colder or inexpressive.
