“Have I entered an alternate universe or did you really just crack a smile for me?”
“Shut up,” Oliver replies, but he’s amused.
“Wow,” Barry starts, and his grin is wide and obvious. “Can you laugh, too? Is that even possible?”
Oliver makes a noise that is half scoff, but it’s half something else, too.
“Aha!” Barry nudges Ollie’s shoulder. “Oliver Queen is an actual human being. I never would’ve guessed it.”
“Ollie,” Barry dares to tease back.
Oliver shoots him a glare.
“Too far?” Barry asks, bouncing on his toes. His expression has fallen to that of uncertainty, but as he sees Oliver’s smile grow wider, he laughs.
Oliver laughs, too, his eyes dancing.
Barry doubts that this isn’t an alternate universe.
