ok unironically a key piece of media that changed my life was when we had to read “there will come soft rains” by ray bradbury in 7th grade. that shit fucked me up so bad bc i was like 12 and a HUGE pussy. and i felt like i was the only one who was terrified by it and i thought about it ALL the time and we also had to watch an old soviet cartoon version of it that literally gave me nightmares SHSHDHDHZJXJJXZJFZ anyway that rly shaped my taste in what i find scary and also made me become a ho for anything about like. nuclear annihilation/technology/cold wars/patriotism killing us all etc. woke

Tonight was a rest day, but I've only been doing active rest days, so I still did a mini workout when I got home. Now I'm out with the bf, he got a new job today! So we're celebrating! I'm having an actual drink lol. Vodka water with Mio flavor in it, lol, but still haha.

hmm well i’m gonna be honest i don’t read that much or pay too much mind to quotes that i just happen to see, so i don’t really have one ;;;;; but a few months back i did binge my hero academia and there was this quote / line of dialogue that i really really loved and it’s sort of been just stuck in my head ever since i watched the scene. it was the line “what part of her was frail?” it sounds super simple i know but in the context of when it was said, which was bakugou’s fellow classmates getting onto him about how he didn’t go easy on a ‘’frail’’ girl in the tournament, and he responded with a scoff and the line i just mentioned above. it was just a really powerful moment after having just watched the fighting scene that it was in reference too. i’d definitely say to check out the anime if you haven’t already!
