Who can’t stand it when Morris greets his questions or remarks with silence. Can’t stand when he asks Weisel something and he doesn’t even look at him, too distracted with something else.

Morris who knows this, who knows how much Oscar hates it, how much it will almost immediately send him spiralling because suddenly he’s a kid again. morris who knows how easy it is to do when Oscar’s done something to piss him off because he doesn’t have a lot on his older brother who seems unshakeable but he has this, had their ma’s love

Oscar who hates that something so stupid can have so much of an effect on him, hates that it can immediately make him feel like that kid on the farm again, tugging on his ma’s skirt.

Oscar who has no issues making whoever pay attention to him.

i saw a few posts awhile back somewhere (genuinely don’t know what webbed site) that said something about “Madeleine not being a real warrior/being a PR knight“ (mostly in comparison to Knight bc of Smithy’s Clientele?) and like. This is part of my longer essay I’ve been procrastinating on writing but we have no proof that he doesn’t actually fight battles?? Madeleine’s description in the game specifically says he “hails from a peaceful Republic” or something but like. Who or what is keeping it peaceful then. Because Dark Enchantress doesn’t strike me as the type to just….leave a place alone. If it does not need to be actively kept peaceful then why did they need to appoint a Knight Commander. Why do they presumably need knights for him to command. God [clenches fist] I wish I knew more about Madeleine cookie

Side note I cannot stress enough that we know nothing about House Madeleine and the pressures his “family’s influence“ is putting on him
