hey, everything’s going to be okay. in a large bowl combine 3 cups of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and a softened stick of butter. mix in 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, and a 1/2 cup of orange juice (all 3 at room temp) with a tablespoon of vanilla extract. zest an orange and add 1-2 tablespoons depending on personal preference. bake 15-20 minutes or until toothpick is clean after poking them. you can add more zest to them after they’re done for more flavor if you’d like.
