PART 2 of: THE HATE YOU GIVE

Pairings: Roronoa zoro x GN!reader (use of they/them and you)

Summary: the moment you’ve arrived in the crew Zoro automatically saw you as a rival, you too would lift a lot and your muscly figure somehow made him even more dedicated to be better. He had never considered that he may like you. Until the crew aided the both of you

(If my writing isn’t good please give me tips and i’ll do my best to improve!)

MISSION: make zoro and name a couple

Luffy’s plan

1) make Sanji cook him meat

2) place a plate of meat infront of them

3) hope they’ll eat it together and like eachother

How it went:

Luffy walked into the kitchen and pleaded to Sanji to make a him a plate of meat. Finally Sanji agreed and gave him a plate. Luffy ran towards the training area and placed a plate of meat on the bench, most of the time the both of you are in the training area to either train or tease eachother. Most of the time, it’s both. Luffy waited.. and waited.. and waited. To him it felt like forever. To a normal person it’s 2 minutes. Eventually luffy ate the meat and in the end he ran away. Finally you both walked in teasing each other almost starting to fight and noticed the empty plate. You both stared in confusion and came to the conclusion that luffy, for some reason, had come here to eat.

Sanji’s plan

1) give name silly photos of Zoro

2) make sure name finds him ugly

3) HUMILIATE ZORO

4) and make sure they don’t ever EVER get together.

How it went:

Sanji went looking for you, his mission had started, and once he did find you he immediately complimented you, “good day mon amour, you look as radiant as ever.”, “thanks Sanji!” He got off track but found his way anyway, he gave you silly photos of Zoro, you laughed for a while and at the end of the day you hung it on your bedroom wall. You looked at the photos everyday, and instead of finding him unattractive, you found it cute, which OBVIOUSLY doesn’t mean you like him.. i mean, who would.. right?????

Jimbei’s plan

1) give flower to name

2) convince them that Zoro told him to give it to them

3) hope they’ll like the flower

How it went:

Jimbei came to you when the waters were calm, once he had found you he gave you a flower and told you that zoro had told him to give it to you. You laughed and took it. Jimbei stood by the sides as he saw you burn the flower almost immediately, “Thanks for telling me Jimbei, you’re the best!” Oh.

Robin’s plan:

1) give name a romance book to read

2) hope that they’ll look at Zoro from a different perspective.

How it went:

Robin found you sipping from a glass of fresh lemonade Sanji had made you. Robin sat next to you and smiled while reading a book. You looked over at her and out of curiosity asked what she was reading, she told you that the book’s name was called ‘The hate you give’ apparently it’s about two people who hate eachother but are forced to work together, at some point something had happened but she didn’t tell you any further so she wouldn’t ‘spoil’ anything. You asked her if you could read it since you didn’t have anything to do and so she gave you the book. Each night you read a couple of pages, the character development, the writing and the storytelling were just phenomenal. You looked at zoro differently after finishing that book. Maybe, just maybe the feeling you had felt all along wasn’t hate but something more.. Nah! Don’t be a dork name!

Franky’s plan:

1) make a creation where he puts the so called item on the top of the doorframe to the kitchen

2) make sure name and Zoro walk past

3) the creation will push their heads together forcing them to kiss

How it went:

Franky had installed the item and looked at it with pride, now all he had to do was wait. He waited for a while but no one came, until he finally heard footsteps. He looked to expect to see name and Zoro but in reality, he just saw Sanji and Usopp kiss. Usopp ran to the kitchen to rinse his mouth and Sanji stood flabbergasted “my first kiss.. was by a man.. i’ve lost in life.” Instead of creating love, he traumatised two men. Good going Franky! Should’ve been there to see it.

Brook’s plan:

1) play a romantic song each time they’re near eachother

2) create a special spark between them!

How it went:

Zoro walked outside and slept on the floor, name took an item that was next to Zoro. Brook came out of literally nowhere and started playing a romantic melody and he scared the death out of you, you slowly looked at brook in horror, Zoro woke up grumpy, what was this old skeleton doing?! Name and zoro slowly looked at each other and backed away. Since then whenever brook was near name acted as if Zoro never existed, and Zoro did the same. Looks like Brook only drove them further away from each other.

Chopper’s plan:

1) create a love potion!

2) make them fall in love!

In his office he mixed elements together. Robin and Franky were watching and chilling in his office too. Apparently making a love potion without an aphrodisiac was impossible, Chopper frowned as he looked at his failed experiment, he looked as if all Joy drained from his body, Robin silently gave Chopper cotton candy and watched his face light up immediately. Franky ruffled his hair as he laughed.

Nami’s plan:

1) book a reservation at a nice restaurant

2) give them to both Zoro and name and convince them she was supposed to go with Robin but canceled due to Nami being busy and Robin being busy too

3) GET THE BERRIES AND WIN!!

How it went:

Nami went out to search for you as if her life depended on it. “Zoro! You lazy bum! Where’s name?” Zoro opened an eye out of annoyance and shrugged “i don’t know. And i don’t care.” Nami rolled her eyes and sighed “do you know ANYTHING?” Zoro smirked “of course i do. I know how to slice heads off”, “stop threatening me you know i can beat your ass. Oh by the way i booked a reservation for me and Robin but due to cancelled plans you’re going with name” zoro’s eyes widened “WHAT?! WHY ME??” “Oh shut up! Don’t make me beat your ass.” Finally Nami spotted name and told her the same story. “Yeah.. me and robin were gonna go but due to cancelled plans we had to let the idea go.. is it okay if you go with zoro? Please i need the 1000 berries”, “what?” “What?” You paused and narrowed your eyes and Nami. Either way you let it slide “sure, more time to tease him i guess. Thanks Nami.”, “NO, NO, NO! THANK YOU!! YAY!! MY TREASURE HERE I COME!!” You watched as Nami jumped away happily and you chuckled softly at the sight.

Usopp’s plan:

1) convince Zoro name likes him

2) get the 1000 berries.

How it went:

Usopp sat down at the dinner table as the whole crew ate. The sound of utensils cluttering against each other and the slurps and munching of Luffy is what made dinner time so familiar. Everyone dined like a family everyday. Usopp turned to Zoro who sat next to him. “You know, just last week name told me they liked you” , “right.” “I swear! Believe me” Zoro obviously didn’t believe usopp, i mean he always lies. But sometimes Usopp’s lies become a reality..

What’ll happen on the date with Zoro and name? Will they finally realise what the crew has been doing? Will they fall in love? Or hate each other more? More to come!
