chiroh and dolios trigger jointly, during an endbringer attack. they don’t know each other at that point, prolly just chilling in the same shelter when there was some manner of mass panic+stampede. they each have some bullshit empath stuff. chiroh feels and manipulates preexisting emotions w/ some p serious accuracy, and can only hit one person at a time, and dolios can create emotional responses where there weren’t any before and manage to affect a fair chunk of ppl, except their powers r a lot clumsier than chiroh’s, less precise. together they fight crime rob banks. their powers work very well together, and they can sense each others’ emotions to varying degrees of success. they fuck with each others’ emotions so much, intentionally and otherwise, that they have trouble figuring out where one ends and the other begins.
padrag’s powers also deal with emotions and the psyche, except he can shape people into literal monsters given enough time to manipulate them. he picks up vulnerable, isolated young capes and grooms them to be part of his personal, monstrous army. dude’s relatively sedentary, but the nature of his powers and they way that he uses them means that there’s a kill order out. there’s been a kill order out for decades. no one’s yet managed to touch him, though plenty have ended up twisted freaks at his beck and call.
kahloh is an energy manipulator, and can streamline or seriously clog up a city’s access to power. currently kept by cauldron, and goddamn has their internet ever been fast since they got their claws on xir.
sulley controls pigeons, a la skitter. his house is one giant aviary. his bestie, a tinker girl with a focus on the biological, helps him breed up freakishly powerful/intelligent pigeons to fulfil various functions because fuck you i do what i want.
killer is a parahuman who triggers young, too young. her parents don’t know what to do with her, so when a pair of capes come to their door and spew some bullshit about a school, a place for her to go where she’ll be safe and cared for, (where the neighbors won’t see) they jump at the opportunity. unfortunately, the school is less school and more ‘gladiatorial death ring.’ her powers include enhanced strength and healing ability, as well as some command over life and death. she can bring people back from things that they aren’t supposed to be able to come back from, which would be awesome if they didn’t all come back uncanny-valley wrong. killer, post fighting ring, is a rogue who tries to keep her head down and her many-times-broken nose clean, with the help of a group of not-quite-rogues who run goods for villains and heroes both. she is eventually going to fuck up spectacularly and reap the consequences.
