A Guardian of Nature: Omar, over time, discovers that his powers are more connected to the Earth itself than he ever realized. His ability to control the elements isn't just a mutation—it's a responsibility. He begins to hear whispers from nature, sensing its pain and needs. This revelation leads him to adopt a new purpose: to be a protector of the land, not just its avenger. He seeks to heal the environment damaged by the conflicts in his homeland, using his abilities to restore greenery and fertility to areas once scarred by war.
A Bond with Maheen: Despite all his struggles and his image as a lone warrior, Omar finds unexpected comfort in the bond he shares with his sister Maheen. Her autism doesn't create a barrier between them but instead becomes a bridge. Her unique way of seeing the world helps Omar to perceive things differently and find beauty in unexpected places. They often communicate in silence, understanding each other's unspoken words. This strengthens Omar's resolve to protect her and provides him with a piece of humanity he desperately needs.
Culinary Connection: While staying with the Avengers, Omar discovers a hidden talent for cooking. Preparing meals reminds him of his grandmother's kitchen, offering him a way to express his emotions without words. Sharing his culinary creations, especially Palestinian dishes, becomes a way for him to build connections with the team. It becomes a ritual that not only reinforces his bond with Maheen but also allows other members of the Avengers to understand and appreciate his culture more profoundly.
A Legacy of Hope: Omar begins documenting his journey—both as a reminder for himself and as a legacy for his siblings. He starts a journal where he writes about the lessons he's learned, the people he's met, and his dreams for a future free of conflict. This journal is meant for Maheen and Aisha, offering them stories of hope and resilience. He hopes that, one day, they'll live in a world where these struggles are just stories from the past and not a reality they must face themselves.

1. Cultural Connection: Omar has a deep connection to Palestinian folklore and poetry, often reciting poems to calm himself when his emotions threaten to make him lose control of his powers. His father used to recite these same poems to him, providing a bond with his past and a means to ground himself in times of turmoil.
2. Elemental Symbolism: Each of Omar's elemental powers symbolizes a facet of his personality. Fire represents his anger and passion for justice, water embodies his adaptability and hidden depths, earth signifies his resilience, and air reflects his desire for freedom and change.
3. Unlikely Allies: During his journey, Omar forms a secret friendship with an Israeli peace activist who shares his desire for resolution and peace. This friendship challenges his beliefs and helps him see the complexities in people on both sides of the conflict.
4. Survivor's Guilt: Omar experiences intense survivor's guilt not only for his father's death but also for those he couldn't save in his village and those affected by his retaliatory actions. This guilt fuels his protective instincts toward his sisters and people he sees in similar positions.
5. Symbols of Hope: Omar carries a necklace with a small charm that belonged to his mother. It serves as a symbol of hope and a reminder of the loving family that once was. It's a talisman that he clings to in moments of doubt.
6. Conflicted Identity: Omar struggles with his identity as a hero or villain. While he uses his powers to fight perceived injustice, he also worries about being perceived as nothing more than a weapon, much like how the Israeli forces viewed him.
7. Connection through Food: Omar has a notable skill for cooking traditional Palestinian dishes, a skill passed down from his grandmother. This becomes a way for him to connect with others and share a piece of his culture.
8. Language and Learning: Omars' time with the Avengers and Ruth teaches him English, but he chooses to deliberately maintain his native accent and mix Arabic words into his conversations to honor his roots and identity.
9. Fear of Abandonment: Given his past traumas, Omar harbors a deep fear of abandonment which manifests in subtle ways, such as always sitting near exits or frequently checking on his sisters' safety.
10. Significance of Music: Omar has a playlist of songs that his family used to listen to before everything changed. Listening to these songs becomes both a source of comfort and a catalyst for painful memories.
