btw I'll continue my pasta posting bc I am 1000% sure that if nesta was a pasta dish she would be bucatini alla puttanesca (not spaghetti bc nesta would never be that basic and puttanesca not bc it means whore-style (though that is funny) but bc it has anchovies, capers, olives, chili - all things many people abhor but people with taste know how to appreciate)

tonight's pasta dish of choice is spaghetti all'amatriciana.

I obtained proper guanciale and san marzano tomatoes from a little italian store near my house (I am so delighted to have found this place; previously these ingredients seemed hard to obtain) and will be picking up a bottle of pinot later... will update you all on this project tonight

well for starters he would like one pasta please. as far as shapes.. bowtie pasta, maybe. reminds him of when purse wore a little bowtie. or perhaps angel hair. everyone loves angel hair. im definitely not biased by my own love for angel hair pasta. anyway.
