This is the pigs getting settled in for the night. These guys have been given 15 gallons of hot water today. Given that it is extremely cold here we have a responsibility to make sure they stay warm. Ingredients: 1 lb grass-fed ground beef. 1 lb pastured ground pork. 2 tbsp smoked paprika. 2 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp onion powder. 1 tsp cayenne pepper. 1 tsp ground cumin. 1 tsp dried oregano. 1 tsp sea salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar.

Instructions: Combine the ground beef and ground pork in a large mixing bowl. Incorporate smoked paprika, onion and garlic powders, cumin, oregano, cayenne, sea salt, black pepper, and apple cider vinegar. Thoroughly mix until all the spices are dispersed throughout the meat. Allow the flavors to mingle for at least half an hour by covering and refrigerating. Set a skillet's temperature to medium-high. The meat mixture can be crumbled or formed into tiny patties. In the skillet, cook the chorizo crumbles or patties for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring periodically, or until they are browned and thoroughly cooked. Enjoy while hot!
