This Chicken Alfredo Gnocchi Bake with Bacon is a comforting and indulgent dish that combines tender chicken, pillowy gnocchi, crispy bacon, and creamy Alfredo sauce, all baked to perfection with a cheesy topping. It's a hearty and satisfying meal that the whole family will love.
Ingredients: 1 lb chicken breast, diced. 1 lb gnocchi. 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled. 2 cups Alfredo sauce. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C. Following the directions on the package, cook the gnocchi. Once done, drain them and set them aside. The chicken should be cooked all the way through and a little browned in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add dried thyme, salt, and pepper to taste. Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for one more minute, until the garlic smells good. Put the cooked chicken, cooked gnocchi, crumbled bacon, Alfredo sauce, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses in a bowl. Mix everything together well. Place the mixture in a baking dish and spread it out evenly. Add the rest of the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top. Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles. Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley.
