#pattern test

I came across a bunch of machine embroidered blocks I had finished for a pattern test. I decided I needed to finish the top. I had to make 13 additional fish. Then because I wanted to add them to the corners, 4 more. I got all the e yea embroidery done and the top cut out.

Today I put the borders on it. So happy with it!

It made me so happy to work with these colors. My FAVORITES! I am particularly tickled with the meow fabric I got to use for my borders!! All the fabric was from my stash too so BONUS!!

Peary the Monkey! Peary was a pattern test for Heksenden on IG! Peary is pretty heavily weighted with glass microbeads and will be available in my next shop drop (date TBD)

I had the opportunity to test this lovely Papa Louie pattern by the amazing Campbell Crochet and I had such a blast doing so! I'm a huge Flipline fan so I was legit thrilled to make this little guy!

Introducing the Caladium Cardigan!

I had the honor of being able to test the adult version of the Caladium Cardigan. It took longer than expected due to life, but also because I had to purl as well. I love working in the round because it makes a sweater knit up pretty fast, but most cardigans are knitted back and forth so hence will take a bit longer that way. It didn't help that I got sick for about a week and a half so had zero energy to be able to even knit in bed. But Cindy, the designer, was very understanding and decided to extend the deadline! I technically missed the deadline by a day, but better a day than a week.

I have honestly loved the finished feel and look of this cardigan. Its definitely the one I reach for while wandering around the house.

Looking for Pattern Testers!

So I don't have a crochet blog (right now anyway) but I've made my first pattern and I'd love to have some testers!

It's for a star hairtie (scrunchie?). Of course a work in progress! Also I'm learning how to math the number of stitches.

It's not a challenging pattern, but I recommend being intermediate or above since I'm confident this pattern isn't as clear as it could be or has issues.
