Main 8 forgetting your birthday
-Maka’s heart sink to the floor when Soul asks her what she did for your birthday. She had forgotten about it completely even though she had it written down literally everywhere in the house even on the inside covers of her favorite books!
-She’s racing to your house as fast as she can before the clock strikes twelve but she already knows she’s in deep shit.
-“(Y/n)!”, Maka’s voice is desperate when she sees you walking up the steps to your apartment building.
-You’re angry, your eyebrows furrow and your eyes squint into a fierce glare but you stop until she’s standing just a few feet away from you. “What do you want Maka?”
-“I’m sorry, I’m sorry that I forgot about your birthday. Please let me make it up to you.”, she begs between her small pants for breath. Guilt courses through her veins when you shake your head no.
-“I’m tired Maka, these idiots of mine have drained me of all my energy and honestly I’m just to angry with you to actually try and convince myself to go with you. It’s okay I guess, I’m sure you had better stuff to do. There’s always next year.”, you sigh going inside without another word.
-Maka hates herself instantly but knows better then to push herself onto you, she waits for you the next day at the bottom of the staircase with a small envelope in her gloved hands. She knows it won’t make up for the mistake she made but she hopes you’ll accept it.
-Sure enough your team come into view, you smack dab in the middle of the other five members. Your eyes lock for a moment and Maka suddenly feels shy, your partners start glaring at her but you shoo them away leaving you both alone for a moment.
-“You don’t have to forgive me, but I’m not gonna forgive myself unless I remind you that I love you and tell you happy birthday.”, she mumbles.
-You gently take the envelope in your hand and open it to a shitty lil dog birthday card and in the middle is two tickets to the concert you had been dying to go to. “W-wait how did you get these I thought it was sold out?”
-“The normal seats were, the vip section still had some seats available so I got you those ones. You can take whoever I don’t mind, please just know that I mph-“
-You’re still mad sure but Maka’s really trying for you so you can’t hold it against her. You kiss her sweetly on the lips until she relaxes in your arms before pulling away, “As punishment you’ll have to go with me.”, you giggled. She happily agrees (almost in tears) but she agrees!
-You had tried hinting it to him that you wanted to go out, you’d been dying to see the new demon slayer movie with him but that day he was in a bad mood and brushed you off. He ended up fighting with you because some boy from your science class gave you a gift and you happily received it with a hug and a smile and he got jealous.
-He forgot completely and didn’t realize it till the next day. Feels like a total jerk for arguing with you on your birthday and realizes that a total stranger remembered it and yet he forgot it like an idiot.
-When he sees you at school the next day he tries to talk to you about it but your obviously heartbroken. “If you’re gonna say you forgot then please just don’t say anything at all.”, you sigh looking anywhere but him.
-“Sweetie I didn’t mean too. I’m sorry for how I treated you yesterday let me make it up to yo-“
-“(Y/n) we’ve gotta go! New mission’s ready for us.”
-You scream back at your teammate and sigh telling Soul it’s fine and that you’ll get over it, you’re gone for a week on your mission and he’s miserable knowing that you’re using this time apart to heal from him forgetting your birthday.
-He’s waiting for you at the airport, you seem happy again racing up to him. He grabs you by the face and kisses you roughly (being mindful of his sharp teeth) like it was gonna be the last time he saw you.
-He apologizes for being a jerk and takes you to the Gallows Manor where literally everyone is waiting to surprise you with huge party.
-You thought you were going to be able to stay mad at him longer but damn were you wrong, “Be lucky that I love you.”, you puff your cheeks up trying to hide your smile but Soul knows you all to well.
-“I know but I love you more.”
-He genuinely forgets and since he’s such a dunce he doesn’t think anything of it until you stop talking to him all together.
-You’re furious with him and since he hasn’t put one and one together you just take it as his ego being to big for him to remember you.
-Blackstar gets annoyed eventually that you’re ignoring him and scoops you up one day after school and takes you away to talk to you in private.
-“What’s up with you? Why have you been ignoring me-hey wait stop come back!”
-You’re already walking away from him, trying to ignore him and his stupid questions but when he grabs your hand you lose it!
-“Leave me alone! I don’t want to be anywhere near you right now especially since you keep ignoring the fact that you forgot my birthday you jerk!”
-Blackstar’s surprised not only because you actually yelled at him but that he forgot your special day. The post from your Meister suddenly made sense, he forgot your birthday!
-He knows his ego gets the better of him but for him to actually forget your birthday made him hate himself, you were the only one that tolerated and loved him so why would he forget that important of a day?
-“W-wait Sunshine, I didn’t mean to. I was just caught up in training I’m sorry. Let’s go out right now.”, Blackstar yells, you refuse immediately.
-Of course you won’t forgive him easily but then he asks you to come home with him so he can show you something so you hesitantly go.
-He rushes to his room and brings back a book of some sort, at first you’re annoyed but once you read the cover of the book you realize it’s not some regular old book. It’s a photo album.
-You open it and see all the photos you had taken before and during your relationship with him, he feels a little better when he sees your smile drawing over your face to every photo on the pages, “Star did you make this for me?”
-The blue haired teen nods his head, still feeling bad about being a forgetful jerk but you happily kiss his emotions away. He holds you as soon as you’re kissing him and smiles against your lips.
-“I’m sorry (Y/n) I didn’t mean to forget, I’ve been working on making this for months already but I guess when I needed it most it slipped my mind. Can you forgive me?”
-You sigh and nod your head, of course he treats you to a small picnic date under the stars that night at the top of the dwma. You both nod off there and aren’t found till the next day but you both ditch school to spend the day together.
-SHE REMEMBERED, She knew your birthday was coming up soon she had gotten you excited by telling you she had a surprise for you but Blackstar took a last minute mission without telling her so she was forced to leave!
-She texts you immediately apologizing but from your short responses she can tell you’re upset.
-She tries to finish her mission as soon as she can but she returns to death city about four days later, you really aren’t mad and she gets mad because of it. She wants you to be angry with her because she failed you but you’re like her understanding and patient.
-Tsubaki doesn’t let you go after that, she takes you home and cuddles with you, bakes a cake with you and you both share a sappy comedy movie together.
-“You know I’m not mad right?”
-“You should be. I got your hopes up about your birthday and in the end we didn’t do what I was hoping to do.”
-She hands you tickets to a water park you’d been dying to go to and sighs, you lift her spirits with a small kiss and cuddle up to her while scanning the tickets.
-“These don’t expire until the day after tomorrow, and tomorrow’s a Saturday so we don’t have school.”
-You both lock eyes and immediately go to the store for snacks, sun screen, towels, and a bunch of other necessities you’d need for tomorrow.
-The next day you’re decked out for the pool and Tsubaki’s new screen saver is literally you knocked out in the water, holding onto a donut shaped pool floaty, with shades on.
-He forgets just like Blackstar! It slips his mind and since he’s off on missions he doesn’t see your new change in appearance until a random school dance his father decided to hold.
-He sees your teammates instantly but doesn’t register the new member with (h/c) and (f/c) streaks until he gets close enough to see your face. He flips, your streaks are unsymmetrical so he doesn’t like them.
-Deep down you look stunning in his eyes but his OCD gets the better of him and he had a small tantrum over it which makes you angrier then you already were with him.
-“The streaks aren’t even, four of them are higher then the left side and the left side is darker then the right. I hate it, dye it back.”
-You honestly can’t believe him, he’s causing a scene and embarrassing you in front of everyone all because of your hair. Your brought to tears and suddenly Kid’s tantrum is over, he tries to take it back but you run off to hide somewhere in the school.
-“(Y/n) got their hair done as a birthday present. You forgot about it and I decided to take them to get their streaks professionally done because they’ve been wanting them for a long time. Sorry if me giving (Y/n) a birthday gift inconvenienced you.”, your partner growls rushing after you in hopes of finding you.
-Kid suddenly feels nothing but guilt coursing through his veins, he quickly checked the date and sure enough your birthday had passed eight days ago.
-He’s hating himself more then usual but he knows that he has to find you and apologize. He cheats by using his soul perception and finds your sad soul at the bottom of the school staircase, you hear his stupid skateboard and try to wipe your tears away with your sleeves but he stops you.
-“I’m so sorry (Y/n), I don’t have a reasonable excuse for forgetting your important day and I’m sorry about yelling at you just now. I don’t care what you do with your appearance, you look beautiful to me everyday.”
-“Liar you said you hate them. I should’ve known better then to get them, I’m ugly either way.”, you sob softly, reminding Kid of your insecurities that he worked so hard to help you through.
-He hugs you and kisses you softly, he whispers happy birthday to you and stays with you the rest of the night throwing complement after complement at you until your blushing and smiling again.
-Let’s you keep the streaks but he dyes them again to make the streaks even and symmetrical.
-“This escape room is gonna make me cry! I’ve lost the birthday baby!”
-Forgets because she can’t handle doing what you wanted to do!
-An escape room, of all things you chose to do, you chose an escape room that was based off of Saw and FNAF!
-Patty sends her videos since she stole Liz’s ticket to go and Liz is screaming just from the videos.
-You aren’t mad at all, just a bit disappointed because you wanted to see her overreacting to the scares.
-Gladly takes you out to dinner or like a cafe if you don’t want anything to fancy but still.
-“I have brought Patty back in one piece!”, you cheer handing the actually mildly scared blonde back to her sister.
-“If Patty actually got scared then I would’ve died there!”
-You just smile and stick your tongue out at her, she sighs and grabs your collar pulling you into a kiss. You happily take the kiss as a birthday gift and wait for her to return while she dumps Patty on Kid.
-She brings you back a small gift box and you happily open it to reveal a small oval locket with your first photo in it.
-You smile it’s a meaningful gift, you put it on immediately and thank Liz with another kiss.
-“So what are you gonna do now birthday baby?”, she hums.
-“I’m gonna go get drunk at a birthday party.”
-Like hell she lets you go by yourself! She isn’t about to let some drunk witch throw themselves onto her s/o!
-She was aware of two parties and unfortunately she went to the wrong one because she forgot the other was your birthday party.
-You’re annoyed to an extreme, she promised she’d be there and yet she ditched you for another party.
-She doesn’t realize her mistake until Liz is calling her asking her where the hell she is.
-“You realize it’s (Y/n)’s birthday right? You went to the other party instead of (Y/n)’s?!”
-Patty feels terrible afterwards and tries to make it in time but your party is already over by the time she gets there.
-She looks for you at school the next day but doesn’t find you until you show up for class but she noticed the bandages on your cheek and knuckles and suddenly gets worried.
-She’s able to talk to you after class but you’re cold towards her feeling forgotten and overlooked by your own girlfriend.
-“(Y/n) I’m sorry. I should’ve known, it’s just I forgot please believe me my little giraffe.”
-It’s rare for her to beg but you aren’t forgiving her that easily until she pulls out something from her backpack and hands it to you.
-“There’s this new open theater that I’ve been wanting to go to, there’s a screening of the Lion King and I wanted to gift you this so we could go matching together. If you’re mad I understand but I really want you to keep this.”
-You’re struggling to hide your smile but you get so excited over your giraffe onesie that you can’t help but tell her it’s okay.
-“Happy Birthday, I love you.”
-“I’m literally not doing anything for you Patty, I’m that mad at you.”
-“Yes... I’ll pick you up at 7.”
-“(Y/n) wh-why-why didn’t you tell me it was your birthday?”
-“Oh well it’s not important, I never really had a reason to celebrate it. It’s just another day to me.”
-Crona is literally fuming, they didn’t forget! They just didn’t know because you never told them!
-Ragnarok overheard your teammates talk about it and told his pink haired Meister who is now angrily puffing out their cheeks at you.
-“It’s fine Crona it’s no big deal.”, you smile unaware of the passionate rage building up in Crona’s heart.
-“It is a big deal! It’s your birthday, you were born today years ago and I have to celebrate it because you were born to love me. You matter so much to me so you deserve to be reminded of that at least today of all days!”, Crona yells drawing the attention of their friends.
-Crona points angrily at you and pouts like a child, “It’s (Y/n)’s birthday and they didn’t tell me so now I’m mad because they said it’s not important!”
-Ragnarok has his small balled hand over your mouth shutting you up as Crona yells, “You were born today, and we’re gonna celebrate because you are a wonderful and beautiful person! I love you but please stop saying that!”
-Maka and everyone are suddenly on the case. Kid offers his home as the party venue, Tsubaki starts thinking about the food she’ll cook for the night and the others are going over decorations with your teammates.
-They hold a simple party for you, somehow it’s the most fun you’ve ever had on your birthday and you can’t help but smile and be happy. Crona is glad you’re happy and holds your hand with a soft smile on their face knowing you’ve been appreciated for who you are.
-“Thank you Crona, this is great.”, you hum kissing the top of Crona’s head.
-“Happy birthday (Y/n), I love you.”
