Good morning Wynna! I recently finished Into the Shadows and all I can say is wow! I have so many questions but I don't want to bombard you so I'll only ask the one. I found the town of Penhallow really interesting; are there any facts you can give that about it that aren't too spoilery?

Good morning! I’m happy to hear you enjoy it so far 🥺

Penhallow was inspired by a town I lived in when I spent six months in Europe! Here are some facts that I can share without it being too spoilery:

1. It's a university town--much of the population are students who attend the nearby university, where Theo also works.

2. It’s quite down south, and bordered by the woods. There’s the city center which is located near its one train station, and further out the buildings start getting sparser and sparser. Most people travel around with bikes.

3. Like most European towns, Penhallow is a combination of old and modern architecture. Think ankle twisting cobblestoned streets along its older buildings and modern cycling paths in the newer residential areas. 

4. Being down south, Penhallow enjoys warmer weather, but winters can still be brutal. They do have nice beaches nearby though, which are great fun to visit during the summer.
