What's yours and Peter's favorite things about each other? And how long have you known each other?
Peter’s head snaps up in surprise, his eyes wide and mouth open just slightly. “Oh, I- uh, well, my favorite thing about Astra is probably... hm...” He scrunches his face in thought and pouts out his bottom lip. Astra, who is seated by his side, rolls her eyes with an amused smile.
“My favorite thing about Petey boy is that he’s really unapologetically himself. He’s passionate about the things he enjoys and he doesn’t let anyone tell him he should like something else. I know there are some kids at his school that think it’s funny to poke fun at him, which I’m gonna kick their asses by the way, but he never lets them get to him. He doesn’t change for them and I think that’s really special,” she explains. Peter’s brows raise and cause crinkles to appear along his forehead.
“Okay, that was actually really nice. Alright, I’m gonna actually come up with something good, then-“
“What were you gonna say before?” Astra asked incredulously. Peter’s hair bounced as he shook his head.
“Absolutely nothing, don’t worry about it, not a big deal. Okay!” The boy clapped his hands together. “I’d say my favorite thing about Astra is that she cares about people a lot. When she says she wants to help somebody, she really means it. It’s never just for show or anything like that. It’s genuine and I think that’s admirable.”
Astra grinned and clapped him on the back. “That was cute, kid. Oh! And we’ve known each other since a couple weeks after Pete got his powers. I ran into him one night while he was on spidey duty, we were both going after the same jerks mugging some old lady. I decided not to tell him I could tell who he was. I let that be a surprise for later.”
