Seriously.
I love the safety pin idea. If you need someone to talk to, i’ll be there for you to talk to. If you don’t feel safe going to the bathroom or walking alone, i will go out of my way to help as much as i can. If you are in trouble and people are being violent to you, i will help and defend you.
But dear god. STOP PROTESTING IN THE GOD DAMN STREET! You are endangering you lives and the lives of others. You are stopping ambulances, police, parents, siblings, children from trying to get home , work, school, a gathering, or what ever place they are going to... and especially any type of medical vehicle. You could end up killing innocent people who need help by standing in that rode. They have lives they need to continue. And YOU ARE NOT HELPING ANYONE BY STANDING IN THE RODE WITH MOVING TRAFFIC!
If you want to help donate to a cause. Get into what is going on in your state. Stand up take a position to better the place. Look into the people who are in office and might be getting a seat that you aren’t even looking at. Actually make a calculated change instead of putting innocent people who need to go about their lives. This includes you. Don’t get run over. Don’t be an ass. Stay safe, help, and be strong.
Think before you post!
Yes, I know this is a common topic that we have all seen and are all probably tired of. But I'm serious. I see people posting nasty coments on stories and videos and all sorts of things. The author may play it cool but it may of actually hurt them. M6 main rule is, if what your about to post were to be sent to you, and it would offend you in any way, don't do it. If it doesn't make you upset, than think of your audience. Another thing I keep in mind is, if you wouldn't say it to their face, don't say it online. Also don't ever EVER tell some one to kill themselves. They might actually do it and you would have to live with that pain. Telling people that their work sucks can lead to all sorts of things, them not doing what their passionate about a major one. So please think before you post!

when people are so ignorant and are incapable of trying to understand someone else's position or view is probably my biggest pet peeve. learning new things and creating informed and evolved positions and opinions is so important. I wish people could understand that. I'll respect your opinion as long as it doesn't disrespect my existence. It is 2015. Marriage is not a new construct nor is it one single group of people's property. love is love and if you can't function at the idea of gay people getting married, they aren't the problem. check yourself and ask why you have so much hate and intolerance for people different than you and people you've never met? Please think carefully on the kind of person you are and want to be. I sincerely hope you want to be one with compassion and understanding for others different than you and know that if you were in their position, you'd also want compassion and support.
