It's funny how i keep thinking about this when it's like early in morning. Just a quick sketch doodle so it might be actually bad & I'm also bad at narrative so.. i'm sorry t?? 😭
I swear there are a lots of stuff you can explore more in this game story but it kinda feel.. anti climatic ? I dunno it didn't leave a big impact for me like Legends Arcues
Lowkey also Love Grisham, but man his design kinda sucks and he didn't appear that much😭e
Edit ; i legit didn't think this will be noticed that much. Thank you waa
Do you ever think about how, no matter what he does, who he meets, how his feelings change, Team Flare will always in some way haunt him? Even should he find love, his past will inevitably be there to potentially ruin it?
I love this man
BTW if you see this on twitter with the account handle origami ketsuban instead of missingno, that is me, twitter thought my normal username is too long
How would the legends za characters act to being sick? Also have a good day or night!
Thanks, miss! I wasn't sure if you meant "react to being sick" or "react to YOU (or whoever else) being sick" so I did both!
VERY LONG POST under the cut!
TEAM MZ:
Urbain/Taunie: Urbaunie is a prime whump candidate. They actively hide their illnesses. When they're sick, they go missing, like a stray cat. If you're sick, they're running themselves ragged bringing medicine and food and blankets and anything else you might want or need. You better pray that they don't work themselves to collapse and make it so you now have to care for them.
Lida: Lida is a COMPLAINER when she's sick. Hours and hours of fussing. This hurts, that feels bad, I'm sleepy, why am I not healthy again yet, why isn't the medicine working yet... you get the idea. If you're sick, Lida is also fussing, just over you. If Naveen is sick and Lida is well, she drives him nuts with all of her fretting over him. If Lida is sick and Naveen is well, she follows him around wrapped in a blanket complaining loudly and he just kind of takes it because he loves her.
Naveen: If Naveen is sick, he just goes to bed. He doesn't want anyone fussing over him. He just wants to sleep it off. Lets Lida drop food at his door but otherwise allows no contact. Big honey tea enthusiast. If you're sick, Naveen is sort of quietly helpful. He mostly enforces bed rest and brings food and medicine if you ask for it but otherwise doesn't visit much.
AZ: AZ wouldn't tell you he was sick. For the past thousand years, every time AZ has been sick, he's laid down and waited to die. He wouldn't even want Floette to know he was sick. If you were sick, though, he'd definitely try to help out. I say try because he has collected thousands of years of folk remedies and only about half of them work. But he'll offer any of them to you!
Korrina: Korrina doesn't get sick much. She has a strong immune system. When she is sick, she tends to recover pretty quickly. Never hesitates to take medicine, just wants to feel better already. However, she's actually pretty good at helping other people feel better. As an athlete, she understands the human body pretty well, and can nurse herself, or anyone else, through most aches and pains.
Ansha: Ansha is very brave about illness for a kid. She only cries for her mother a little bit. Tries to be brave. Tries to be so brave. Fortunately, she usually has someone to take care of her, even if it's just Hoopa. If you're sick, she's compassionate, and she's about as helpful as a kid can be, but mostly just seeks guidance from others.
THE SBC:
Jacinthe: Jacinthe is also a complainer. Acts like a dying Victorian child even if all she has is a head cold. Demands to be waited on hand and foot. Yes, even more than usual somehow. Also goes to the hospital for, like, EVERYTHING. If you're sick, she makes someone else take care of you. Why would she get your germs or sickness on her? That's just gross.
Lebanne: When Lebanne gets sick, Jacinthe gets her the best care she can, because a sick maid is a poor maid. Lebanne just wants to rest, but no, it's to the doctor with thee. If you're sick, Lebanne grouses about having increasing caretaking duties. If Jacinthe is sick, Lebanne isn't getting a moment alone until she's better. Jacinthe is not above making Lebanne carry her, bridal style, to the doctor for treatment.
THE JUSTICE DOJO:
Ivor: Ivor is rarely sick. However, when he does get sick, he tends to seek comfort--blankets, bed rest, companionship, Gwynn. It doesn't always occur to him to take medicine--after all, shouldn't his powerful body be able to defeat anything that comes its way on its own? If you're sick, he's right there, for better or for worse. He mostly just hypes you up. Definitely verges into the territory of bothering you and not letting you rest.
Gwynn: It may seem on the outside that Gwynn is another person who hides themselves away when they're sick, but this isn't true. She hides herself from Ivor when she's sick. Gwynn doesn't like being fussed over, and Ivor clinging to her and crying about how he wishes he could justice punch every single one of the germs is way, WAY too much for her when she's already feeling bad. If you're sick, she will take care of you, but she'll complain about it the entire time. It's not personal, but she is annoyed by it.
RACINE CONSTRUCTION:
Canari: Canari plays up her illnesses in front of Tarragon and Gwynn and plays them down in front of most other people. She's cranky when sick. Not a complainer like Lida or Jacinthe, cranky. Every little thing annoys her. She's honestly a bit exhausting to be around when she's ill. Fortunately, it usually only takes a bit of tending from dear old Grandpappy to calm her down. If you're sick, she's a bit awkward, honestly. She's concerned, but in an awkward way. Like an "are you sure you're feeling well enough for that?" kind of way. Not very confident in her nursing skills.
Tarragon: Tarragon genuinely seems like the kind of guy who has a favorite over the counter painkiller and a thousand at-home remedies in his pocket. If he gets sick, he has a pill for it. He's likely walked off worse. Sure, some of those old back strains stacked up, but it's nothing some Tylenol and a stretching routine can't solve. Despite this, he's actually quite good at caring for the injured or sick--he's first aid certified and he raised his grandbaby on his own. Never outwardly doubts his ability to make you feel better.
TEAM FLARE/TEAM FLARE NOVEAU:
Mable: If Mable is sick, then it's somehow everyone else's fault. If you're trying to care for her, you're embarrassing her or pushing some ulterior motive. If you're sick, she thinks you're only telling her because you're dying and you want her to call you an ambulance.
Grisham: Grisham gets even more philosophical when he's ill. He wants you to sit by his bedside and listen to him wax poetic about life and humanity and politics and reality until he passes out. When he's sick, he becomes less of a poet and more of a soldier experiencing a profound realization about the truth of the universe while bleeding out in a ditch. He's not really needy or particularly upset, just resigned to his suffering like the protagonist of a Shakespearian tragedy. If you're sick, he's actually surprisingly helpful--while he isn't emotionally tender or particularly emotionally comforting, he's always got some tea or a lozenge or something helpful on hand.
Griselle: If Griselle is sick, she becomes extremely emotional. Expect a lot of yelling. If you get her REALLY sick or if you give her some prescription strength cough medicine, expect crying. Griselle doesn't cry a lot when sober and healthy; she's good enough at bottling everything up to avoid that. However, she WILL cry if put under enough physical or emotional strain. Expect to do a lot of emotional management. Expect to do this while she's furious at you. If you're the sick one, you're getting ordered into bed. You WILL drink the tea. You WILL take the medicine. You WILL eat the soup.
Emma (only putting her here because of her ties with Xerosic and because there's no other convenient group to put her in): Emma spent years toughing out illnesses on her own. It doesn't occur to her to seek help with her personal issues. Fortunately, Mimi will seek help for her. Emma does the same for Mimi, for the record. Emma is very matter of fact if you're ill. She has a checklist. Medicine, bed rest, it's all routine. She's sort of a matter of fact nurse whose goal is checking boxes until you feel better.
Lysandre: When Lysandre was, well, Lysandre, he usually had people tending to him when he became ill. Used to be furious at the weakness of his body, of all bodies. Used to view sickness as a blight, as just another piece of proof that the world was ugly, too ugly to continue as it was. It used to twist him into knots if the people he cared about were sick. He would think endlessly on whether or not the people he loved were getting the best care, and if by them getting good care other people weren't getting care. It used to keep him up at night.
L: L has suffered from various aches and pains pretty consistently ever since Zygarde brought him back to life. His eye barely works, his joints randomly flare up with arthritis, and he gets a cough when it rains. Zygarde keeps him going, though. L doesn't remember his old friends well enough to seek them out when he's sick. Once in a blue moon, if he's really sick, he'll turn up at Hotel Z and get a proper bed for a bit. If you're sick, he wouldn't know what to do. He'd probably get Zygarde, who would probably just lead you to a Pokecenter.
THE RUST SYNDICATE:
Corbeau: Corbeau has an incredible immune system. Germs can't compete with whatever he has going on. He spends half his time handling venomous and poisonous Pokemon, and he spent his childhood mostly unsupervised wandering around eating whatever was there and not bathing as often as he maybe should have. As a result, Corbeau almost never gets sick--he gets sick less often than Ivor and Korrina do, and they both have very good immune systems as well. When he does, he doesn't explicitly ask for anyone to nurse him, but he also won't complain if you do. If you're sick, he has antidotes for most poisons and venoms and antihistamines for most allergic reactions as well as a first aid kit. He's not the nurturing sort, but he can treat most basic issues without the need of a doctor.
Phillipe: Phillipe tends to go through life with his fists. His Steel type preference means he developed quite the tolerance for injury. He doesn't complain when he's injured or ill. Very good at patching himself up. However, he doesn't mind it if Corbeau shows him a little pity or concern when he's under the weather. If you're sick, he's probably just going to enforce bed rest, unless there are specific injuries to treat. Not much of a nurse, but if there's a convenient cure he can give you, he'll get it done.
QUASARTICO:
Jett: Jett has a bad habit of working from home when sick instead of resting. She also has a bad habit of expecting other people to do the same. Vinnie and Urbain have to gently remind her that not everyone has her stamina. If you get sick, she'll most likely find someone to cover your shift and maybe approve you some PTO. If you're out for a long time, she might circle a get well soon card around the office and have it sent to you.
Vinnie: All Vinnie needs to feel all better is a hug from his daughter and some home cooking from his wife. Doesn't need much else. Frets a lot about missing work when he's sick. Jett doesn't really help. She doesn't want to hurt him, of course, but she really does need him to help her out and if he's down for the count than everything just gets thrown off. If you're sick, the dad comes out. You now have a bedtime. You will eat healthy now. You will take the medicine, even if it's yucky.
