Comments: Don’t judge, but I’ve never actually seen Dirty Dancing. I didn’t need to in order to enjoy this fun and fluffy romance, though. It was a wonderful escape full of lovely characters and relationships.

Comments: This was the perfect fic to read with a hot drink on a rainy day. You can’t get more cozy than a Great British Bake Off AU. Also, it contains this absolute gem of a quote.

“No!” Sirius smacked the plastic cup filled with stale cereal out of his punished human’s hand. He responded a touch more dramatically this time to Sirius’ sudden physical appearance, though it was mostly due to the fact that his food now covered the floor. “Eat some real food and go to sleep!” Sirius’ skin prickled with a thousand fiery needles—release, release, release.

“My Cheerios,” his punished human mumbled, eyes glued to the ground forlornly.

“How can you even be functioning on this little sleep?” Sirius’ voice pitched higher and higher as he spoke. He wondered if he was capable of yanking his fake human hair out.

Comments: This was incredibly cute. All of the ways Sirius learns about human things, from memes and references to sex and emotions, has to be some of the funniest shit I’ve ever read. Sleep demon!Sirius is a true gift; he is adorable and innocent, for lack of a better word. I loved how much went into the discussion on mental health, too. The illustrations were wonderful; I especially liked seeing Sirius in his demon form.

#junejoyfest - Day 23 🏳️‍🌈 (Demisexual Sirius, Trans Remus)

Summary: Deaf Dance Choreographer, Remus Lupin, has a simple life. Working, taking care of his son, and running his YouTube sign channel. When he unwittingly becomes involved with Deaf Pride Activist, Fleamont Potter, he doesn't realise how much his life will change. Especially after he meets YouTube star and makeup artist, Sirius Black.

Comments: A really wonderful, diverse group of characters finding, supporting, and loving each other. There were so many fantastic elements: Hari and Teddy, Sirius as a famous makeup artist, Remus as a determined dancer and father, and the polyamorous relationship between James, Lily, and Regulus. Entirely brilliant, fluffy, and fun to read.

Little does he know that Padfoot has known him all along, and is looking for something much more than a one-off.

Comments: It’s just so cute. So many good things in this fic: a demisexual character, coffeeshop!au, poc characters, terrible flirting, pining. All mixed together perfectly.
