Just Finished: Pokémon Y

After a pause on my Pokémon run I confess I was missing this series in my gaming routine. My that's a reason why I loved this iteration more than I should. Black and White (1 and 2) are one of the best titles in the series and I can see this one being some steps below. The menus should been more intuitive, there too much focus on the online gimmicks, and the new Pokémons are mostly unappealing to say the least. But there are good things to consider as the inspiration from French culture, as from de the first generation games. Also a lot of new TM's well added as for the graphic and animation improvements. To add they learned from Black and White and didn't add many extra mechanics nor mini games, giving priority on what matter the most: Exploring, Battling, and Collecting Pokémons. That's the essence of this game!

Answering all of them so, I'll try to keep it short

Fromis: The styling was alright. I think it could have been thematically stronger? Like they could have started with very glam'd up looks that transition into (or alternate between) more casual looks. I also did not love the color palettes they were choosing for the #menow. So b&w Attitude looks are my favorite. I actually saw the third one for the first time today while looking for the other pictures but it's probably my favorite outfit for #menow

Deukae: My favorite Bon Voyage look is definitely the badass "dystopian" look. It's kinda just popular modern clothes and they vary without clashing too much. Runner up would be the sailor outfits because I pretty much always enjoy those. And a special shout out to this Handong look. I generally do not like the bohemian style but I'm obsessed with this look.

OnlyOneOf: I do keep up with them! (at least casually) Their all white look is my fave outfit! There's variation in the color, texture, and layering; and a nice balance of individual variation and group cohesion. Junji's look esp sells the white for me. Runner up to these red and black looks. They are great but not particularly new for them.
