oh it's so nice to see someone write for trans folx! any chance you could give us ur thoughts on post-op care by Waterboy?
i feel like he'd be extra anxious 🤔
Hi omg you're like my first anon hi!! But I just wanted to write for trans folks like myself since there's literally nothing (there's some but it pmo how it's fem just with "he" slapped on it. I even saw a "fem gn reader" how tf does that work💔 js say fem)
Waterboy would definitely be anxious. He would make sure that you're never alone, and he'd even bring his grandma by so all of you could chat. Now, you can't do much movement, so he would take you on small walks around the hospital first, maybe to just the vending machine around the corner(and he's holding your hand all the way). He'll def buy you a snack as a way to congratulate you. He will not let you lift anything heavier than 5 pounds, and will gladly reach stuff off the top shelf for you (hes fucking long I think he does that anyways). He would make the bed so your head and arms are propped up, and that you're laying on your back, and not on your sides. He even lays next to you, his hand holding yours, you're not alone during this.
Since you can't shower for at least a week or so he'll gladly wipe you down as carefully as he can, scared when too much water gets into the sponge or on you. Staying hydrated is verrry important! Guess you picked the perfect boyfriend for that, huh?
The moment you complain just slightly about pain, or any complications, he's all over you, he's asking you questions, asking when your last dosage of medication was, he's just everywhere. You call him down by saying you're fine, that pain happens sometimes without being too serious. He trusts you, that everything's okay, but he keeps a really close eye on you for the next couple days.
Slowly, when you can start walking again, he'll take you out for slow strolls in the park. I like to believe he loves the park cause of all the duck's and animals around. Whe you get tired, you'll sit on a bench until you're ready to move again. He'd sit for hours, but he's not moving until you're okay to.
He'll change your dressings, he'll even apply the ointment so you don't have to move your arms when you're not supposed to. When you're healed enough to where he can touch you without it hurting, he'll gently massage your chest, albeit, a tad bit nervous since he's straddling you.
I'm nawt post-op I got this off a website so if anything is offly or wrong lmk plz n thank yous
