Your prayers will be answered soon.
and again, and again, and again.
Knock me down 9 times, but I get up 10!
Pray about it.
Good Morning!☀
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Oh what peace we often forfeit, Oh what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry, Everything to God in prayer.
This familiar refrain from the song "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" reminds us that peace of mind is only a prayer away. "Be careful for nothing" is another way of saying, "Don't worry, don't be anxious." To this, we are likely to reply, "That is easier said than done!" Not when we apply the preventive and the antidote we have been given!
When we develop the habit of praying about what ever concerns us, remembering to give thanks as well, we will find God's peace ruling in our heart and his joy flooding our spirit at times when others are upset and afraid. Prayer and thanksgiving keeps us actively connected to God and mindful of his nearness to us. The habit of worry is soon banished!
We don't have to meditate for hours or take a pill or potion to find peace. We don't have to go on a hike, retreat, or vaction to find peace. The Prince of Peace is only a prayer away!
If anyone is curious, you can say a full, five decade rosary in about the same amount of time as getting a filling for a cavity. Speaking from experience.
When I’m in a mood, one of the habits I’ve been implementing instead of making sure others know I’m not in a great mood, is get things done around our home, listen to podcasts, & have random moments of talking to God 🤣
Call me crazy, but it is therapeutic.
AND productive!
