#for some people it can cause pain #and occasionally a couple other problems #but I despise that no matter how far I scrolled into the google image results #I cannot find a single picture that isn’t from a plastic surgery website #it’s not like it’s uncommon at all either #I’m gonna take a picture of my own nose as an example so I don’t have to use some plastic surgery before photo #I once had a scrape on it and it took a very long time to heal bc there’s not much between the skin and the bone #but then I got to wear a sick band aid across my nose for months #I need to find some pictures of that #it was like a 6 month period of time I think #I scraped it by running face first into the wall of a pool #pretty hard

My cat has been inside more and therefore not filing her nails down on the pavement and rocks outside. I like that she's not outside because it's not safe for her, but this, unfortunately, means I have to clip her nails. I have to clip the nails of the 12lb, basically pure muscle cat who has never had her nails clipped before. Needless to say, I got punched in the face a few times.

#she doesn't really scratch she's too nice for that #but she does swat and punch #pretty hard #as well as just generally flailing #I'm tired and sweaty and she still has one paw's worth of claws #but she started getting sweaty feet and breathing a little harder than I was comfortable with #so I let her go to recover #luckily she's very sweet and trusting so she's not too scarred #by the experience #sealposting
