Reblog if you think that schools push kids to the breaking point, is no longer healthy, or just if you really hate school.
You know you go to a private school when...
- all the horror stories you hear are about the hardest teachers - youve been given a hard test because your teacher said the class average was too high - youve learned to stress out over the smallest assignments - pulling overnighters is so common youve learned to run on no sleep daily - your highest priority is classwork, food, sleep, and health comes after - you have a dumb as fuck dresscode and are jealous of all the public schoolers - the only thing you talk about with your friends is school *BUT* on the brightside youre basically super human because you can work efficiently under extreme stress and without food, sleep, or any breaks.
Reblog if your theology teacher makes you want to die.
Why school uniforms can be dangerous
I have gone to a private school for most of my education. I took tests to get into my schools and my parents paid high bills to simply send me to school. I had to wear a uniform all those years. In Britain, all schools require uniforms. What started as a way of classifying children into one category to avoid kerfuffles and jealousy over who wears what has turned into something worse. My friend, while walking home from the train, wearing his uniform from a private school, got in a fight with another person because of what he was wearing. He, thankfully, got out with only a few slits in his side, but multiple others have not been so lucky. Because of the prejudice against students whose parents/guardians paid for their education, pupils DIE. Having a uniform shows the whole world where you go to school, giving some people the excuse to get in fights and even KILL other students. Not only for the whole dress code thing that humiliates girls for the length of their skirts or their bra straps showing, but that uniforms can kill. When walking down the street from school, in my uniform, I get catcalled twice as many times as my friends going to public schools. The uniforms create a stigma that allows people to harass and kill those who are wearing one.
NCMO
Pronounced Nick-mow
Acronym for Non-Committal Make-Out.
At school the other day, there was a text announcement that there was a report of a man walking through the grounds with a rifle.
Then, after security checked it out, it turned out to be a groundskeeper with some loppers in a holster.
