#Why I Am Pro Life
Before my second to last sister was born, my mother had her first miscarriage of what was her 5th child. Baby Erin passed away at about 8 weeks gestation although it wasn’t until week 11 that her body went into labor.
Because hospitals won’t let you take home a miscarried baby unless you cremate, and because the baby was so small, mom decided to labor at home.
After the event, we had a family wake.
It was here that I saw the full extent of ‘unborn’ anatomy. There were little limbs & appendages (Arms, legs, fingers & toes) . There were eyes, a rounded belly, and a bulbous head.
This was the first time I had ever seen a deceased person. It never even crossed my mind that this wasn’t a person. This was my brother or sister that I was never going to have the chance to play with. That my mom was never going to nurture & my dad was never going to spoil.
I’ve come to terms that I will met everyone again eventually when I die, but this death still sticks with me becasue I’ll never know how much I lost with that sibling. How different would my life be now, had I got that ever elusive little brother. Or if I had another sister who, true to pattern, would have been so different in every aspect from the rest of use, but still equally as loved
And that’s why I’m Pro-Life. I’ve seen the ‘blob of tissue,’ & can confirm that this isn’t just a ‘blob’. I’ve seen the value of the unborn OUTSIDE of the value of my mother (value held even in death)... And to repeatedly be told over & over again that the only value of the unborn is value chosen/given/bestowed upon them.... That will never sit right with me.
“Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.” Psalm 31:9
Thought I would practice some willpower and wait until Father's Day weekend for my rewatch. However, since mothers are the most over glorified branch on the family tree, I'm starting it today 😎
We meet again, Blue-Eyed Brilliance and Brown-Eyed Bosses 🥰
Remember....
Considering how much they like to place Peeta on this pedestal of perpetually perfect purity, I've noticed his fanbase goes out if it's way to be hostile. Whether it's offering a single nice word about Gale on a message board or even a Gale/Katniss dedicated video, Team Peeta always invades with their overblown disparaging comments. This would make more sense if it was the other way around, but how is it Team Gale usually opts not to engage or attack? Shouldn't Team Peeta be satisfied with their delectable forcefed 'victory'? What's with the consistent need to tear Gale down in order to prop Peeta up? The guys themselves did not interact with nearly such immature antagonism towards each other.
Is this perhaps overcompensation for the fact that people like Peeta are free to bake cookies and pick posies in the meadow because people like Gale are diligently safeguarding a whole new world?
This came from me typing in just a few details. Evidently, AI is not run by the likes of Simon Kinberg and Bryan Singer....
Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr were two very different people. Charles was a young, wealthy graduate student with an open heart and a bright mind. As a young teen, he had taken it upon himself to raise his little sister, Raven, after their parents had passed away. He was kind, generous, and intelligent, but also lonely and yearned for a larger family and an authority figure in his life.
Erik was a few years older than Charles and a hardened survivor of the Holocaust. He had become a Nazi hunter, driven by anger and a need for revenge. He was a stern, closed-off individual who kept himself distant from everyone.
One day, Charles and Raven encountered Erik in a park. Though Erik was initially wary and suspicious, Charles' kindness and Raven's innocence eventually melted his heart. Realizing he had found a family he could connect with, Erik became an older brother figure to both Charles and Raven.
The three of them grew closer and closer, and soon Charles had the idea to open a school for other children in need. With Erik's help, Charles was able to fund the school and provide a safe and nurturing environment for the students.
Though Charles and Erik started out as strangers, their common goal of helping others brought them together and forged an unbreakable bond. With their newfound family, they created a place of love, acceptance, and education for those who needed it most.

Lovely. Instead of sleeping, my head is in the bad place. Charles' Angels? A little help, please!
