Rewatched a playthrough of SA2 where shadow exclaimed at the biolizard fight that sonic is the true ultimate lifeform-

Well this happened

GUN investigated an area where they detected a strong energy wave ripple through the air. A gast little blur that sped through the planes caught their attention. It took a while, but the little kit was soon caught and taken in the Ark for further examination. Mobians, after all, dont typically have this kind of ability

Lil sonic was one little menace who hardlt cooperated with the scientist and more often than not got shock-collared for extra measures.

Named 'Sonic' due to the sonic boom he created before when he ran at his fastest

He ,shadow and maria didnt meet for a while. They stayed in totally different areas.

I'd imagine maria mostly stayed around the medical bay and shadow is situated near her area. The times they go strolling they dont usually cross paths with sonic who is locked up in a more secure room.

Unlike shadow who was rather obedient despite the expiraments, sonic wouldn't go down without a fight but it leads to chaos energy lighting at the tips of his quills leading to more intrigue.

The first time he and shadow met, he managed to slip away from a scientist's careless moment and ran across the ark.

Spotted a lil shadow in distress when Maria collapsed earlier due to her illness and they still hadnt found a cure for her yet. He hasnt been a cure for her yet

Shadow felt someone poke his shoulder and he startled to find a cobalt hedhog just like him waving down to him

The other hedghog was mute so he communicated with gestures. Felt curious about the other but tried to cheer the guy up first

They weren't told that there was someone else like shadow. He wondered if Maria knew he was there or if blue was new to the place

The two hung out a bit until scientist found them again and took them both back to their respective areas

Many times, they put Sonic in a tube in order to safetly observe and monitor his status

(Memory alterations was conducted on Project shadow. They knew that the cobalt hedghog was rebellious enough and they dont want to risk having the 'Ultimate lifeform' be infected by such thoughts too)

(He hates the cold metal walls. Hated the cage he was in, hated the weird things around his neck and limbs,hated the stupid scary stares of the humans around him, hate how they force him to do things-

He loathed the heavy water the most)

Hey there, what are your thoughts about Project Sonic 22? Is it any good?

I don't want to get too riled up because at the end of the day it's just a codename for "cool things they want to do in 2022." Which is like, fine

But also, Sonic Forces was "Project Sonic 2017."

Which was intended to be a call back to "Project Sonic" in 1997. The original Project Sonic was a move to boost awareness of the Sonic franchise in Japan, where Sonic was notably less successful. It encompassed the releases of Sonic Jam, Sonic R, and Sonic 3D Blast.

And it's like... it's more nostalgia pandering. "Remember that thing from when Sonic was good? Here it is again, because we don't have anything better for you."

Like it was whatever with Sonic Forces, but the fact they're doing it again for Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Origins... c'mon. You could call it anything. You don't have to make it a callback.

But fine. Sure. Whatever. It's not a big deal. I just hope it amounts to more than those "monthly streams" they started in 2020 that went exactly nowhere.
