I'm really good at finding things I'm looking for, always have been, because I thought, well I'm just observant and can usually remember the last place I saw it.
But am I remembering the last time I saw what I'm looking for or am I seeing with my mind's eye where it actually is by remote viewing?
Because I can usually "picture the last place it was" and find it even after someone else has moved it. I didn't think anything of that.
Because I can usually "picture the last place it was" for someone else's thing they're looking for too.
Because if someone tells me what they're looking for I can usually see the "last place they saw it" and say "have you looked on top of the dresser with the tissue box on it" and they'll be like "oh, there it is, thanks"
and then sometimes when I do that to someone I'm talking to on the phone they'll say "thanks, there it is" and then "hold on, how did you know where it was" and I'll say "well I just pictured your room and thought about where you might put it down" and they say "but how did you know what else was on the dresser, you haven't even been here since I got new furniture in my room" and I'll say "well you told me what the furniture looked like and you showed me a picture of your dresser when you ordered it" and they say "well how did you know the tissues are on it? I just brought that into my room from the bathroom and set it down here, I don't normally keep tissues in my room." And I say "I don't know, I guess I just imagined what I think your room looks like right now, and that's what I saw" and they say "well what else is on my dresser?" And I say "I don't know, I wasn't paying that close attention, I was looking for your thing" and they say "well look again" so I imagine what's on their dresser and I picture in my mind's eye- them standing there, both hands on the dresser as they lean over it tensely, their phone is laying by their right fist on speaker, the tissue box is perfectly centered in front of the mirror attached to the dresser because they have a little quirk where they center everything when they're cleaning, the remote to their Roku is sitting on the edge of their dresser near the walkway they take to get around and into bed when they go to sleep, they were looking for their wallet, it's sitting on the dresser, unzipped, and they have a cup of ice water they just brought with them from the other room, where they had been looking for their wallet, already making a condensation ring because they're weird and don't like insulated cups like the rest of us who live in the year of our lord 2026, and their cat is under their bed scheming on stealing the sock in the corner that missed the hamper in the closet.
And when I said all that they said, "holy shit, I gotta call you back"
And then they sent me a bunch of links to "Project Stargate" and remote viewing and I'd heard a little bit about that before, like I love stranger things and I've heard about mk-ultra and shit, but I never made a connection to what I've been doing my whole life.
And now I'm wondering if when I was sitting and ruminating on what my brother Tim might like for Christmas a couple years ago and he opened my present of a massive speaker that had fancy lights and could connect to Bluetooth, he looked really shocked and said "Woah! I have one of these exactly like this, but I just broke it a few weeks ago and had been meaning to get a new one, thanks!" And I said, "I must be psychic, because I bought this a few weeks ago, I had been thinking about what to get you and I thought you could use a big speaker you can pull out for parties since you do your poker nights and whatever in your garage with your friends" and he looked at his girlfriend and back to me and said it actually broke because "someone knocked it off the table in the garage last poker night" and I said, "well I guess that proves it, I am psychic" and we all laughed except Tim because now he believes it and was a little freaked out lol
But I digress, what I'm wondering is- can anyone else do this? Is anyone else good at "picturing the last place you it"? This seemed so normal to me I didn't even realize it was something weird I was doing, I didn't realize I was "picturing where it is" rather than just knowing where it was because I had seen it there at some point. Because I didn't realize until I thought about it like this that I could picture things I hadn't actually seen with my own two eyes. I didn't even realize I was doing it at all, it just was something I do when I'm looking for or helping someone look for something.
