4.kattan düşen bir bebeğin kaderi,
bir kedinin kalbine sığan cesaretle değişti.
O kedi düşünmedi, hesaplamadı, korkmadı.
Sadece insanlıktan önce merhameti seçti.
Atladı…
Düşüşün hızını kendi bedeniyle kesti
ve bir hayat kurtardı.
Bazıları hayvanlara zarar vermeyi güç sanır.
Oysa gerçek güç,
bir canı korumak için kendini ortaya koyabilmektir.
Bir kedi kahraman oldu bugün.
Bazı insanlar ise hâlâ insan olmayı öğrenemedi.

Hayvanlara zulmedenlere not:
Merhameti olmayanın,
bu dünyada bırakacağı hiçbir iz de yoktur. ASİKAN
4.A baby falling from the 4th floor
had their fate changed by the courage
of a cat’s heart.
That cat didn’t calculate.
Didn’t hesitate.
Didn’t think about fear.
It chose compassion before instinct.
It jumped…
slowed the fall with its own body
and saved a life.
Some people think hurting animals is power.
But real power
is risking yourself to protect another soul.
A cat became a hero today.
And some humans still haven’t learned
how to be human.

A note to those who harm animals:
If you have no compassion,
you leave no meaningful mark in this world. ASİKAN
Tava querendo evitar falar sobre esse assunto aqui pois é bem pesado, mas não da pra não falar sobre. Vou falar em inglês pra que o caso tenha visibilidade:
TW: Animal cruelty, animal abuse and animal death
To my non brazillian followers, there has been a case here in my country that has shocked the whole population: Orelha, a beloved stray from a neighborhood in Florianópolis (a city from the south of the country) was brutally tortured and murdered by 4 teenagers a week or so ago. The dog was loved by the community even having his own house, he was 10 years old and very sweet.
These 4 psychopaths called the dog over, tortured and killed him, some of the injuries including impaling him and putting a nail across his head. He was sacrificed by people who found him still alive agonizing after the fact. The injuries were too severe for survival. Along with Orelha, two other dogs were also tortured though luckily they lived and are now being cared for.
The future serial killers are sons of wealthy families in the region, their parents threatened and fired a doorman who caught them and recorded their barbaric acts as evidence. Now cops are claiming there is no video of it. Currently, two of the teens are at Disney in a pre-planned trip with other students of their school.
The reason I'm speaking about it isn't just because i love animals, its a matter of safety for fellow civilians. If there isn't enough buzz around the case both from outside and inside the country, justice won't be done. These people are waiting for the world to forget so they can live as if nothing happened.
Now its Orelha, next, it's gonna be us, people they see as lesser due to lack of income. They don't see us as anything more than toys.
Please share this story around, we need to force the law to do something. We can't let this act of evil be unpunished
“But indoor cats are miserable because they never get to go outside!”
There’s this wonderful invention called a leash
INTERNATIONAL SNOW LEOPARD DAY 🐱 (23rd october)
Snow Leopards are often called the 'ghosts of the mountains' due to their elusive nature & their ability to blend seamlessly into their icy, high-altitude habitats. Their thick fur, large paws and long tail are adaptations to the harsh environment.
Snow leopards live in the mountains of Central Asia. Their range of distribution is over 1.8 million km2, with the largest share in China, followed by Mongolia and India, but only 3,920-6,390 individuals remain in the wild now.
Let's celebrate them but also raise awareness on Conservation and Protection of these animals. The snow leopard acts as an indicator of the health of the mountain ecosystem in which they live. Sadly they face many threats in the wild including habitat loss due to climate change and poaching.

Curiosity:
○ snow leopards can have between 1 and 5 cubs.
○ The cubs have blue eyes for the first few weeks.
○ Snow leopards parents don't raise their cubs together. The male leaves right after the mating.
○ The mother usually warps her long furry tail around the cubs like a fluffy blanket.
○ Due to the shape of their throats, snow leopards cannot roar.
I can't believe that I missed it by 3 hours, but better late than never, right?
HAPPY EARTH DAY!!!
