LoSH Appreciation Week Day 3 - Proty

I've been using Proty I & II as mascot(s) for my zines ever since I first joined Legion fandom in 1983. The first zine in Interlac was Proty I, followed by II, III,... all the way to Proty XI. Around that same time I also joined Klordny, and published Orbiting Antares. I was out of active zine publishing from 1986 - 1997, but rejoined Interlac with A Tale of Two Proties now up to issue #109. Around 2000 I even briefly joined a non-comics, regular science fiction APA, but named my zine Antares Express after the home solar system of the Protean race. So yeah, how about that Proty?
