Ways to say "I love you": Marissa Meyer edition!
Keep her severed foot on your desk.
Kidnap him.
Shoot him.
Tomatoes.
Flirt with everyone you see.
Say “I love you” when you are dehydrated and dying so he thinks you’re delusional.
Blind him when he is trying to save you.
Help her fake her death.
Pretend there is an assassin under your bed, and then shut the door so he can’t leave your room.
Swear him as your archenemy.
While kissing, knock him out.
Get her arrested.
Keep talking about how another girl found you charming.
Kick his ass at video games.
Force her to a watch movie she is terrified of.
Make him trust you, then break that trust, then Uno reverse his ass.
Annoy him every day of a full semester then work with him over the summer just to piss him off more.
book review: instant karma by marissa meyer
overall rating: 9.5/10
my thoughts on the book: i love instant karma so much!! it's one of my comfort books, and the perfect summer read! i really like prudence and quint's relationship, and lennon and luna are just the cutest! i will admit though, prudence is kind of annoying to me. she's a little stubborn, and i think she annoys me the most because i know someone like her.
synopsis: Chronic overachiever Prudence Daniels is always quick to cast judgment on the lazy, rude, and arrogant residents of her coastal town. Her dreams of karmic justice are fulfilled when, after a night out with her friends, she wakes up with the sudden ability to cast instant karma on those around her. Pru giddily makes use of the power, punishing everyone from public vandals to mean gossips, but there is one person on whom her powers consistently backfire: Quint Erickson, her slacker of a lab partner. Quint is annoyingly cute and impressively noble, especially when it comes to his work at the rescue center for local sea animals. When Pru resigns herself to working at the rescue center for extra credit, she begins to uncover truths about baby otters, environmental upheaval, and romantic crossed signals--not necessarily in that order. Her newfound karmic insights reveal how thin the line is between virtue and vanity, generosity and greed, love and hate...and fate.
would I recommend this book: yes!!
Prudence: Yeah, we hate each other, but I would kiss you if you asked.
Quint: What?
Prudence: What?
Ari, playing guitar in the background: She said she'd kiss you if you asked!
Quint Erickson? I think you mean my new fictional boyfriend.
Wait what’s prudence and quint’s ship name
Prudence: I haven't been thinking about Quint!
Prudence 0.5 seconds later: starts thinking about how she hasn't been thinking about Quint
Pansexual energy is having a crush on both Prudence and Quint.
