Excess sugar causes inflammation and weight gain, and increase stress, and it's a risk factor for diabetes. A good reason to quit sugar.

Quitting Sugar
Yep, I’m doing it again. My cravings are getting out of control and I want to be in control. The next time I have a taste of a sweet treat, I want it to taste like best damn thing that has ever graced my tongue. No refined juice, white carbs, yogurt, etc.
Only fruit.
I’m going to start with one month as my goal and go from there.
Chapter 371: Addicted to sugar...
Chapter 371: Addicted to sugar…
There are five stages of grief – denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.I am in the stage two. VERY ANGRY. So angry, that I decided to skip bargaining.I won’t bargain. You tried to kill me? I will make you evaporate. I will go on for as long as it takes to get you out of my system. It is difficult. I wake up with a bouncing headache, that follows me along for the whole day. I can’t…

Sugar Talk
These days, I’m not really big on sugar. Like at all? Which isn’t as bad as it sounds, there’s always room for fruit and the occasional strawberry lemonade and oj but other than that, no sugar in my diet. My sugar habit was hella bad last year, I was hella bloated and outta shape, but then I quit processed foods like in December. Cold turkey on candy, chips, soda, junk food and ate mainly salmon, rice, veggies, water. And the quitting soda is a whole other topic but some of the side effects came way later like day 30-50. I was suddenly very tired and depressed but not so bad? Just tired and my skin broke out really really bad and I’m someone who’s never really had a lot of acne, like ever. My complexion was always very nice, just that my skin was kinda bumpy and I had some sun damage but again, not the point. For like a whole month my skin was terrible, I was so embarrassed because I didn’t know it was from sugar withdrawals. Plus, I had hella headaches like late into the night, so if sleep. Oh and that’s another thing. I was always someone who slept in and stayed up all night but my sleep schedule slowly started to reset. It went from me waking up at 11 am, to 10 am, to 9:30 am, and now I wake up at 7:30 am and sleep around 10 pm to 11 pm. Which is so crazy because I just get sleepy and I just go right to sleep no problem. I didn’t know my body would try to reset itself but the quitting processed sugars has a domino effect. That led to me being a morning gal, my skin now, is surprisingly clean, my hormones are changing so I’m finally getting a cute glow, my skin routine is 10/10, it’s just something to reflect on. I’ll touch more on those other subjects like quitting soda and my skin routine maybe another time.
