7. Rammerhead (Super Mario 3D World)
Not much to say about this one. It's just such a cool shark design (and sharks are already cool, so this is double cool!).

I think hammerhead sharks are one of those animals we take for granted. Same goes for stuff like elephants and seahorses. Everyone knows and loves them, but... wow! They are strange! Remind yourself of that. Remind everyone you know of that, and celebrate the strangeness of all creatures!
Rammerhead is simply perfect. It might be one of the most well-designed video game enemies of all time, and you know that’s not a distinction we hand out to just any Joe Schmoe! You see, a classic element of game design is the Dangerous Rod. This is a staple Mario itself has pioneered with the classic Firebars! But sometimes a dangerous rod is just a dangerous rod, and it’s not really very funny at all.
...and that’s when you turn it into a funny fish! The most perfect creature possible to play the role of an aquatic Dangerous Rod (perhaps a flying Dangerous Rod could be played by my good friend Stalk-Eyed Fly).
The only downside to Rammerhead? Though its design is perfect when you’re constantly watching it in motion, still images don’t do it justice! Sure, you can see its long head and its classic Shark Bod in the official renders, but as a result, you’re missing out on its darling cheeky pout. Nevertheless, I hold onto the hope that from some perspective, its best features are ALL visible. This perfect angel must have a perfect angle!
