Why is the gambler archetype character always some sort of charismatic suitguy with a playing card/roulette/slots/poker etc motif. I propose.. my character design concept for this character trope in a way I've never seen anyone else do it before: gacha motifs (the vending machine itself, capsules, tickets, crystals, stars and letters which are often associated with rarities in trading cards or gacha video games, trading cards themselves, other possible contents of a gacha vending machine, maybe blind bags/boxes or loot boxes since they're kind of an adjacent thing anyway) AND they're dressed in some variety of harajuku/other category of J-alt-fashion with a distinct gamer and anime nerd vibe. I am so smart
The YA booktok romantasy male love interest plastic-destroying dangerous crow boy that's been memed on Tumblr recently's name is canonically River.. which also happens to be our collective/system name. Yeah sure the name isn't exclusive to us but we found this kind of funny anyway. We're him now, whatever. New insys inside joke
Plural culture is the weird ass situationship I have with the guy who changes between being a side/state of my boyfriend to an extension of him to a fully autonomous and separate clone of him, and the one my boyfriend has with the same exact type of guy but of me instead
Out of context SP moments part 1
I don't know if this is funnier with or without context
SP glitched and showed @spud-sys on our friends list as having our members. Whatever, throws my headmates at you, you can have em
Certified apped lication moment though (why has SP been so glitchy to us lately on both devices it's never done that before 💔)
Something we came up with and hope to spread in the plural community is a custom field in Simplyplural we called "PvP Area" which is basically where other headmates can write teasing remarks (jokingly of course) about whoever the profile belongs to. Our friend system already started using it bc of us
Plurality moment is someone going "why did I think [name] was my name. That's not my name. That's not a name anyone in current front has. That's not a name anyone in our entire system has" and current front all immediately going "ohh. oh well. we know what this means". Hi to whoever's trying to appear rn
