Oven Roasted Garlic Cabbage Steaks-Easy & Delicious
A wholesome and flavorful dish combining quinoa, roasted cabbage, apples, and tamari almonds. Perfect for a nutritious and satisfying meal.
Ingredients: 1 cup quinoa. 2 cups water. 1 small cabbage, thinly sliced. 2 apples, cored and diced. 1 cup tamari almonds. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 tablespoons tamari sauce. 1 tablespoon maple syrup. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Rinse the quinoa under cold water and cook it in 2 cups of water according to package instructions. Preheat the oven to 400F 200C. In a large bowl, toss the sliced cabbage and diced apples with olive oil, tamari sauce, maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Spread the cabbage and apple mixture on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until caramelized and tender, stirring halfway through. While the veggies are roasting, mix tamari almonds into the quinoa. Once the cabbage and apples are done, combine them with the tamari almond quinoa mixture.
