for real though, i wouldve loved to see more about roxy glass, she was so compelling as a character. like, we know she became a proper agent. but did she survive the chronicom attack? did she help rebuild? maybe became dekes second in command or something eventually? maybe they basically turned into may and coulson, that would be so cool. questions, questions

Roxy Glass is my favorite new character from Agents of SHIELD. I have a thing for those 80s “rocker” chicks, same as Charlie Watson from Bumblebee. 

And Roxy’s husky voice which reminds me of the animated Rogue, which I daresay was my childhood crush while everyone was crushing over Jean Grey.

I will give points to Deke for really trying here yet still giving Mack his space

I also want to give myself points, because when I heard this in the trailer I thought is sounded a lot like Jeff. Not everyone’s singing voice sounds like their speaking voice, but his does.

Ok so here’s where I get confused about what the writers were doing. They make a big deal about how much Deke has changed, and then they have him do the same thing he’s done before like...I understand he was trying to survive. And I guess you could make the point that he fell back on old instincts when in survival mode. But also...idk...

On the other hand you can just say they were going for peak comedy and 80′s movie-ness in which case none of that mattered

I mean, this was a fun romp but did it really do much to advance the story? Ehhh...although in retrospect it did give them a reason for Deke to stay behind. I mean he actually liked it there. 

Anyway we’ll give this a 10/10 on the Friendship is Magic scale because Deke friended his way to victory. Mack gets a 150000/10 on the Going Through Stuff because he legit was going. through. some. stuff. And finally the Deke Squad get a 10/10 on the SQUAD scale because they were a little rough around the edges, but they were good eggs.
