Rubber Tree / Ficus elastica

New growth on the rubber tree. Unfortunately terrible evil goblin grasshoppers came and ate a bunch of leaves on it. It grows like crazy. Online people say not to put it in full sun, but it gets full sun in the afternoon and is flourishing.

Ficus Elastica

(Rubber Tree)

Probably my oldest plant since we moved to the US from Taiwan, 5 years ago. This baby has a very special place in my heart and I can't wait for it to grow even more. Their names are Susan and Steve! 💕

Ficus elastica (rubber trees) love bright indirect light and very very little water. Make sure to use the finger test to determine if it needs water.

I got Rubber fig, Monstera adansonii (swiss cheese ), and heart Fern I was little sad as Monstera came with black dots and torn leaf but we'll see how it goes

I absolutely adore my Rubber Fig. Surprisingly he is very happy in the house and has quite the opposite of a leaf drop problem. In fact, he won’t stop putting off new leaves.
