Ace's Mother: Ruby Bunny

Ruby was an expert jet pilot & commander of the Acme's Sky Aces, known as being chipper, spunky, competent, charismatic, & extremely passionate about her job. However, when her five children were born, her life took a total nosedive. Her husband divorced Ruby when she quit her job in order to take care of them, & took away the children, all except one, the runt of the litter. She named him Ace, after her air team name, & to solidify the fact that he'd always be her number one priority.

Since then, Ruby had to take odd jobs to take care of Ace, which was a Herculean task for her, due to how animals were treated in Acmetropolis. But even so, she persevered for her son.

Ruby would install a set line of morals for Ace to follow, so he would turn out to be an upstanding citizen, & hopefully never go through the same situation as an adult that she was going through.

Constantly stressed from her home life & work life, Ruby would cope by smoking, then instantly regretting it, because she felt like she was failing Ace, but Ace loved her no matter what.

Seeing how much his mother cared for him, despite being in such a bad state emotionally & financially, made Ace grow determined to aid her over the years, from selling his old toys to other kids at age 6, now to being a superhero at age 20. & of course, Ruby couldn't be prouder of him.
