As the person who submitted the propaganda defending Bonnie, I would also like to say Ruby from Max and Ruby is another little girl character that gets unfairly hated. Because why did one guy on Tiktok decide to make a whole freaking series dedicated to hating on what is essentially a parentified seven year old girl? I don't think he was the sole origin of the Ruby hate, but I think he definitely popularized it. She's seven years old! Of course there are gonna be times where she's not as nice or understanding to her little brother as she should be. It feels like some people don't mind when little boy characters act like jerks because "boys will be boys," but when little girl characters aren't perfect, then they're just awful brats and lost causes.

Ace's Mother: Ruby Bunny

Ruby was an expert jet pilot & commander of the Acme's Sky Aces, known as being chipper, spunky, competent, charismatic, & extremely passionate about her job. However, when her five children were born, her life took a total nosedive. Her husband divorced Ruby when she quit her job in order to take care of them, & took away the children, all except one, the runt of the litter. She named him Ace, after her air team name, & to solidify the fact that he'd always be her number one priority.

Since then, Ruby had to take odd jobs to take care of Ace, which was a Herculean task for her, due to how animals were treated in Acmetropolis. But even so, she persevered for her son.

Ruby would install a set line of morals for Ace to follow, so he would turn out to be an upstanding citizen, & hopefully never go through the same situation as an adult that she was going through.

Constantly stressed from her home life & work life, Ruby would cope by smoking, then instantly regretting it, because she felt like she was failing Ace, but Ace loved her no matter what.

Seeing how much his mother cared for him, despite being in such a bad state emotionally & financially, made Ace grow determined to aid her over the years, from selling his old toys to other kids at age 6, now to being a superhero at age 20. & of course, Ruby couldn't be prouder of him.
