I can't stop thinking about Rumi having nightmares about what happened during the idol awards. Flinching when one of the girls goes to high-five her and then immediately apologizing like she doesnt have PTSD. them creating a system so that Mira and Zoey can quickly confirm that they're not demons whenever Rumi needs it. I can't stop thinking about Mira telling Rumi that her fear doesn't make her a bad person. I can't stop thinking about Zoey tearing up when Rumi finally admitted to them that she was having nightmares and was scared of them turning on her.

Platonic Yandere Rumi when her child starts developing patterns

TW: Platonic!Yandere Nepobaby Rumi, tried to keep Reader GN, but reader has hair brushed out of her face, age isn't specified, but tends towards somewhere between 4-6, mention of self loathing and self hatred

"Mommy?" your soft, little voice called out as you came walking into the living room where she was lounging on the large couch, her tablet perched in her lap as she read through some parenting books literature. As soon as she heard you, she immediately shut off the device and set it away. From her own childhood with Celine, she knew how it felt to be secondary to work, to never get the full attention you asked for. She'd never let you feel that way. Ever. As such, whenever you came to her while she was doing something in the privacy of your home - except for attention sensitive things like cooking - she turned her entire attention towards you. This time was no difference.

"Yes, love?" she asked softly, pulling you into her lap gently and brushing a strand of hair out of your cherubic face that she could never get enough from. Her expression went from adoring to a little panicked when out of nowhere, your eyes teared up and your lower lip started wobbling. "Oh, baby, what's wrong? Why the tears? You can tell Mommy." You sniffle a little before pulling the collar of your cashmere jumper to the side to reveal a purple mark - one that anyone else could've mistaken for a strangely shaped bruise. "I-I think I got hurt," you explain, seemingly also thinking it was a bruise. Rumi, who's breath hitched and heart stopped for a moment when she saw the marking, knew better. But still, she had to make sure. "Did...you walk into anything? Or had something fall on you?" she asks, her voice as soft as it was only with you. You think for a moment, then you shake your head.

"Does it hurt when you touch it or press on it?" she inquires further. You make an adorable face of concentration before reaching up with one of your teeny tiny hands (compared to Rumi's own) and press onto the mark. Then you poke it. Then once more. Seemingly surprised by the result, you shake your head. "It doesn't hurt at all, mommy," you say in astonishment, tears long forgotten. Rumi smiles for a moment as she appreciates your little brains process. The fact that you'd gotten all worked up over a bruise that wasn't there and immediately calmed down once you realized that you'd overreacted.

Rumi is conflicted for a moment. She wanted to keep this side of your lineage away from you, wanted to keep you pure and innocent mind, but she remembered how the way Celine had treated her markings, how it had influenced and stunted her own life. No way would she put you through that, no way she'd make you doubt and worry about something that was an innate part of you. Instead, she'd make you grow up proud of your markings, your patterns. She'd make you grow up knowing just how special and beautiful they made you. Rumi might have unknowingly filled her patterns with shame thanks to Celine, but yours would become a sign of pride.

"Darling, that's not a bruise," Rumi spoke up softly, pulling you closer against her. "It isn't?" you ask, confused and tilting your head in that adorable way that made even Mira admit to her own softness. "No," a smile graced Rumi's features as she reaches for your hands and guides your finger to her own - now iridescent -patterns, helping you trace the ones on her arm, "There like Mommy's markings." You look at Rumi with big, beady eyes. "Really? But yours are so pretty! And they're all over." Rumi chuckles a little, only someone as innocent and cheerful as you could make her feel happy about a part of herself that she's hated for most of her life. "Yeah, but Mommy is a grown up, yours are still...growing. Just like you." "So...There'll be just like yours when I'm big?" you ask hopefully, the tears from earlier already completely forgotten. A sharp pain goes through Rumi at the thought of you growing up, but that she'd have to deal with in therapy later. "I bet they'll be even prettier, after all...they'll be yours..."

She always picks the kids' sides on arguments between their parents. No matter how in the wrong they are.

while she never voices it aloud, she loves going out. Whether it is to the mall or just around the block, she likes getting outside. She ain't beating those dog allegations- who said that?

Mystery, standing behind Zach as he scrolls on his phone: "... don't you need new pants?"

Zach, not looking up from his block blast match for a second: "You want to go to the mall again, don't you?"

Mystery: "... Possibly."

Zach, smirking: "I'll go dress the twins."

Always trying out new things with her kids. Which either is an utter disaster or the most amazing thing you've seen. There is no in-between.

Mystery, standing in the middle of a floured kitchen, covered head-to-toe in the white powder: "... the flour slipped out of my hands."

Zach, who had left the house for half an hour to get milk and come back to this: "... oops, looks like I need to get more milk! Bye!" (Joking)

Frames EVERY piece of art her kids have ever given here, acting like they are the most expensive of creations and will get defensive if someone insinuates otherwise.

The most social mom of the Saja Girls- always eagerly volunteering herself as tribute for class trips, kid sleepovers, and tea parties.

Abby, excitedly waving her arms over her head as she jumps up and down: "Me! Me! Me! I want to go with! Pick me! Pleaaaase!"

has become insecure over her growing wrinkles, but it all quickly fades whenever her family reassures her that she is still gorgeous.

Abby, frowning as she pokes at the wrinkles around her eyes while staring in the mirror: "darn things..."

Her daughter, hugging her waist: "you are the prettiest star in the whole galaxy, Mabby."

Abby aggressively sobbing while hugging her darling girl back.

Sweet, but old fashioned mom. Tries to give her kids dress codes, but than gets shot down when shown a photo of her in her early idol years.

Teaches a dance class each Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday is for kids and teens, to which they all love her. Thursday is for adults, to which they all see her as Korean female version of Gordon Ramsey.

Rumi

The fun dad, until his kids want to go to the arcade alone. He is a tad overprotective, but its only because he knows that half of his kids would PURPOSELY get into trouble.

His youngest on playing on a rock climbing structure, constantly looking over his shoulder. Rumi having a heart attack: "No! Lumi, stop looking at us! Stare at where yoi are climbing! You are going to fall! Jinu! Did you see that? He nearly fell! Oh my god!"

Jinu shaking her head with an eye roll

Loves braiding his daughter's hair and always feels touched when she asks him for help. Same goes for when one of his son's ask for shaving tips for the first time.

Kind of Gomez Addams and Mortica vibes with Jinu. Always clinging to her and pampering her with affection- even when his kids say its "gross" and "cringey"

Jinu pampering Jinu's face with kisses as he holds her waist after she made him his favorite lunch: "you are the most beautiful woman in the world. However did I get so lucky? You are so hot, and intelligent, and bossy. God you are bossy. But I love you anyway."

Tries not to curse around the kids, so he makes up ridiculous alternatives. To the point even Jinu thinks he should just use the actual swear word.

Rumi stepping on a sharp Lego piece after stubbing his toe on the table, banging his fists against the wall as he tries not to curse: "APPLE HONEY ICE TEA MACARANA BEACH BALL!!"

Jinu side eyeing him while working on her computer: "Just say 'fuck' and move on."

At the beginning, he was really anxious over becoming a dad. He worried he would screw them up like how Celestin did to him. But, after holding his first child in his arms for the first, he knew that he was as ready as he could ever be for fatherhood.

Rumi holding his baby daughter in his arms for the first time, tearing up as his lip trembles: "You are so precious, little crow. You look like your mama already. I promise that I'll always support you however i can. I swear it on my life."

When he plays make believe games, he is COMMMITED to his role. He is building lore for his character and the world. He takes playtime seriously unserious.

Miro with a full face of makeup, pink drink in hand, and crop top as he pretends to be a problematic costumer at his daughter's restaurant: "Um, excuse me? Like, where is your manager? Ive been waiting three minutes and I am still not seated. Thats two stars from the review."

Makeup and Nail artist for his kids and nephews and nieces. After many years as a idol, he got this shit down.

Abbin watching Bluey while his dad paints his nails baby blue: "Bud, I am going to need you to stop wiggling around, otherwise this paint job is going to look botched as hell."

Gets mad when his kids swears around him, but than forgets that he doesnt censor himself half of the time.

Has the hardest time punishing his kids: folding almost immediately.

Mason pouting as he gets scolded for kicking a ball in the house, resulting in a vase breaking, leaving Zach very conflicted: "You know better than to... um, kick, uh, a ball... ah man, just dont do it again, okay?"

Is ready to get dressed up in makeup and a dress at any moment.

His daughter comes up with a tug on his sleeve, face paint in hand. She doesnt even have to say anything before Zach is sat at a stool, eagerly awaiting his makeover.

When he feels down or his energy levels are low, he snuggles up with Mystery.

SHORT CIRCUITED when Mystery first announced she was having a baby.

Zach, cooing at his phone while watching turtle videos. Notices Mystery enter and immediately pulls her into a cuddle session on the couch, excitedly showing her the videos: "Look, Myst! Aren't they soooo cute?"

Binges watches shows with his kids ever since they were young- even the little kid shows. He full-heartedly got invested into episodes and would look forward to movie hour with his family.

The type of grandparent who acts like they never ONCE mistreated their child in their youth and PAMPERS his grandkids.

The type of guy who likes to catch you off guard and shows up randomly. And he does that for all of Huntrz.

Gets called Grunny (Grandma + Bunny)

The favorite grandparent who spoils the grandkids and is always showing up to their school events. (She always helped them practice before hand)

Bunny sat in the audience, mumbling the song lyrics under her breath as she watches, recording on a camera like a proud Grunny.

Always brings them their favorite snacks/treats when she visits.

Bunny throwing open the door, shopping carts in arms and bedazzled sunglasses on: "Grandma Bunny has arrived!"

Cries whenever they return affection to her. Examples; breaking down over getting birthday cards, baking her sweets, ect.

Juno handing Bunny a matching Bunny merch T-shirt she made, already wearing hers, causing Bunny to start tearing up: "this is... *sniffle*... the greatest gift ever!!"
