The RoH fire element portal master, Ryeo?

I've spent the last several months now making fancy portal master outfits for each of the ring of heroes kiddos (echoes version) and ive finally finished them all!! Just in time for the next echoes of the core session where theyre fancy at the skylander graduation and everything is gonna go bad!! :D
The New Masters Fighting Style
Spyro: - Very aggressive and reckless. He's always looking for an opening and keeping up the pressure with powerful ranged attacks. - No different when he's armed with a Greatsword. He's well aware of how easily some of his advanced or standard maneuvers could cut, bludgeon, or amputate him if he makes even a slightly wrong motion, it hasn't stopped him. - His fireballs, fire streams, or fire cones are all much more carefully timed and targeted than his melee attacks, due to there being a speed demon on his team who could kill-steal at any second. While they're mostly to prevent a target from getting a breather or healing, a fucking fireball is a fucking fireball lol. - Magic items often fill out his repitore, most of which being passive or applied buffs to whatever he was already doing. - ^^^ That's not to say he can't adjust on the fly or that they don't let him try less-practiced strategies mid-combat/alters his approach depending on what Portal Master, if any, he's paired with.
Stealth Elf: - Also fights aggressively, though with a lot more precision while hiding behind her big brothers, Dad-Vac, and Portal Master (she meshes well with George, Adrianna, and Ryeo). She sacrifices consistency of pressure for massive bursts of damage going right through her mark's weak points, vitals, and the handles of their weapons if she can get the right angle and they aren't reinforced enough. That being said, there's not a lot enchanted Elemental Paragon fangs can't cleave through, with enough time, gold, and exotic materials poured into them. - She still struggles with longswords/katanas, despite how much Cami-Flage and Ambush did to beat it into her. - Tools, however, she loves. Poison spores, throwing knives, specialised daggers, spore bombs, shuriken, decoys, weapon oils; Spyro is going bankrupt to keep up with her, she has a harder time making her weaponry besides caveman-esque traps, she's a lot better with using natural resourses than proper steel or complex mechanisms. - Spyro periodically bashes his head against the wall for her.
Eruptor: - He's mostly stationary throughout his combats, save for changing positions. A lot of minor dodges or letting attacks skim his lava shell so who/whatever he's guarding is never in any real danger, but he's not wasting HP on pointless damage. - Fights viciously when given the chance, especially if someone makes the mistake of getting too close to his older brother/little sister. He generally puts a lot more effort into protecting Elfie than Sy, knowing how tough each of them are, depending on the circumstances, but he won't not take one for the dragon if given the chance, and vice-versa. - A decent chunk of smaller attacks just can't penetrate his armor, not even counting George's buffs or Oscar's healing. - Absolutely devastating when paired with Ryeo. Besides her primary attack buff and ranged spells, the Fire synergy makes him a force of nature.
Jet Vac: - Way more consistently reserved and calculated than the teens. His wing injuries and the relatively stiff flight of his vacuum pack don't let him keep up with them anymore, and the years have been cruel. - Favors plucking (ha) off priority targets or small groups with piercing or blasting shots while reserving his healing ability for emergencies, be they when Oscar is preoccupied or Spyro's potions are out of reach. - He can get a very general Air boost with Eugenie that he can't get with any of the other Portal Masters, but her evasion boost isn't as useful to someone hanging out in the back lines. During a real struggle, he'd want Ryeo helping him and the team finish as efficiently as possible or George to hold the line. - ^^^ Bruno is an alright third choice, due to his time manipulations reducing/negating their breaks/breathers or limiting their enemies, but he doubts Bruno's ability to treat a genuine threat with the severity it demands and would rather have that trained out of him before actually considering him for combat. - ^^^ He vastly prefers working with Adrianna, otherwise. She doesn't have the intense experience he does, nor the training of a real Skylander, so he enjoys precision-directing her attacks and teaching her to juggle many stressors. She and her Dad like her birb-papa, moreso when she's not doing Portal Master things.
Cynder: - Absolutely horrific. Fear, psionics, ghosts, Darkness, a limited-use heal, and hails of serrated hooks laced with scythe ambushes to drive anyone mad, assuming the toxins don't down them first. - She's great at setting up her environment in her favor, even behind enemy lines, something she's hoping to pass down to Eugenie. - Lightning for range, Soul Knives for melee, summons for constant pressure, toxin for making the most of limited damage openings and killing ads, and lots of debuffs. She's extremely well-built as an assassin, but can struggle to work with others. - ^^^ She's very used to either working alone or as an isolated operative loosely directing some autonomous Undead from the shadows. She's working on communicating through telepathy more frequently, but there's often a small delay because she hasn't worked with the team for nearly as long as Spyro. - ^^^ But she gets along with him. He's her Eruptor to her Elfie. Spyro and Cynder are both slightly-leaning middle grounds between Eruptor and Stealth Elf's extremes. Cynder cane take a hit much better than Stealth, but isn't quite as fast on the ground and doesn't hide as well without her Darkness, which itself is unnatural enough to make it obvious when something's amiss whether or not she's revealed herself. - Ideally; Eruptor will cover for them, Spyro and Jet vac are the obvious melee and ranged targets with decent enough HP/armor to take some hits, Stealth Elf and Cynder pick off priority targets/play for the mission objective while attention is away, Cynder sows kchaos and covers for Elfie in emergencies.
George: - Takes a lot out of Spyro's book, but significantly simpler and on the defensive side. He doesn't enjoy the thrill of battle like Sy, Cyn, and Elfie, but he also won't let a Mabu down. - His sword is his default, due to being very versatile and easy to enchant. Not many of the average fodder enemies he has to deal with are particularly tough or resist slashing damage, the bigger problems are often rushed by Skylanders before they can reach him or get a spell/shot off. - His shields, armors, and/or generic buffs carry the team; he's a great mid-line fighter. He'd rather fight with Fin, Barbella, or Spyro's team, but he works well with about any team he's put on. Great for wars of attrition or giving newer Skylanders more room for mistakes.
Eugenie: - Gets better and better with her Urumi, adores using it when she has a reason, but is much better suited to keeping behind her Skylanders and hurling massive spell after massive spell. - Best with Air bursts and lightning. Tightly-wound Air for precise attacks, small tornadoes and wind walls for limiting enemy movement, chain-lightning for crowd control, and many speed buffs for her Skylanders. - Whatever other spells she has on hand will change as needed, she likes using her environment. - Also good for most Skylander teams, including giving beginners some wiggle room.
Bruno: - Likes his gadgets and mechanical staff, though he tends to have to work out the kinks in the field. He keeps some tools on hand and knows how to smack a bitch with a hammer/backhand if they threaten his new toy. - Wants to build off of Drobot's razor gears, but he doesn't trust Bruno with his hard work yet. Similar to JV, he'd rather Bruno figure out what he's getting into before letting him near his whole life's dedication. - Lasers are free game, though. He wants to make a cone attack with the magic dispersers on the end of his cogwork staff, but usually just gets a harmless light show. Cool flashlight, though! Getting the focus right without blowing himself up is the main problem. - Nobody wants to be on his team 'til he does some growing up XD
Bruno's biggest hater: - Ryeo shoots stuff beside Eugenie. She has a blast blowing stuff up in the field and making little campfires while practicing more controlled, non-lethal magic. - Not blowing up her own Skylanders is her biggest struggle. Especially when Bruno's bothering her, it's easy to get heated (kekeke) and make bigger blasts than she intended. Fire also tends to get out of (her) hand, whether it's literally slipping off her palms/cards/magic items while she's casting or burning out of control after something finally goes according to plan. - Great for offensive operations, specifically those without much concern for collateral damage, the team leader keeps her on a tight leash otherwise. - ^^^ JV's one of the best at this, he has a lot of experience with out-of-control flames and burn injuries.
Oscar: - He'd rather be in the back, but many leaders consider him too devastating not to bring to the front. The biggest part of being the best healer is deeply understanding how the body works, and by extension, breaks down. - MUCH stronger than he gives himself credit for. His powers are as wild as the sea and he his deep understanding of/facinatio with marine biology gives him a good understanding of the flaws in unusual anatomies. - Works well with just about anyone, but liking them is a different story. He can understand why many have him as a combat healer, but he hates being part of the fight. He'd rather be in the back or completely disconnected from the battle; healing survivors, using waves to move rubble, clearing/blocking paths, having Skylanders be brought from the front lines to his little work spot, etc. - There's an unfortunate difference between what he wants to do and what's frequently needed of him. Not enough to leave him defeated, he just doesn't like all the eyes on him. - A Portal Master-tier healer is adored no matter who he's paired with, and a lot of Skylanders get a morale boost seeing the Contrast between him and his familiar.
Adrianna: - Would much rather not be here. Just because her RoH ability's built for combat doesn't mean she is. - Hides behind the tanks a lot more than the other Portal Masters. George just behind the front. Bruno and Oscar usually aren't far behind (much to the latter's and the formers' Skylanders' dismay). Ryeo and Eugenie are supposed to be further behind her, but Adrianna likes to stay behind until she charges her big attack. - Next to Oscar in 'stronger than they know' gang. Her Skylanders have a lot more faith in her than she does. - Some huge spells like Jenny broken up by extremely powerful melee abilities. - HATES having her plants at risk, but isn't agile enough to consistently avoid using them for thorn barriers/shields. A lot of her "spells" are only spells for others, and are instead part of her body (thorn walls, vine whips, druidcraft, Thorns Of Agony, some swarm stuff, etc.) - ^^^ This lets her get away with repeatedly casting some higher-end magic as if it were a cantrip, the primary limit being her own skills and the amount of plants in/around her, let alone if she's in a Life zone. - She loves working with Skylanders she already knows, though, but doesn't often pull herself away from her plants without one of them fetching her. Doom Bloom is her main teacher ala Barbella for George and Cynder for Eugenie, but she's happened to run into Elfie and Camo pretty oftenn while caring for the Academy and Castle's gardens and the Life Isles.
[REDACTED]: - Deceptively high aggression. Will be completely silent, still, save for a cloak or appendage lightly billowing for one second, then a sonic boom of attacks, spells, evasions, blocks, and parries that not even Elfie can reliably keep up with. Mixed with Eruptor's resilience, predictions and quick calculations like Jet Vac's, Spyro's spellwork, and the positioning of a seasoned Portal Master, and it can even be a threat to a team of Skylanders or a Doom Raider. - No mental protections or defenses, and yet when Dreamcatcher or Cynder would try to peer into its mind... Nothing. - ^^^ Not a failed spell, nothing sending it back as a miss or having been shielded, it's more like there's nothing to target, yet also not returning an error for the lack of a target. - Will often dash straight through attacks to keep up the fight, cutting open its attacker right when they thought they had an opening before repositioning for another seemingly mindless, but far from random, flurry of brutal and quick attacks. - Abilities change greatly on the Crest used, its corresponding Elemental attacks, and the Elements around it.
[REDACTED]: - Much more reserved and patient. It's done a lot of waiting and surviving since fate pulled it into Skylands, mixed with a lot of arcane construction and Elemental absorption. - Favors a spear for general combat, but comes armed with many smaller armaments like daggers and complex gadgets to break the enemy's flow of combat. - Is also quite experienced with swords, it can wield one with broken/missing guards just as well as any complete weapon. It doesn't like greatswords, though, it'd rather one that can be used in one hand. More like a duelist than a knight in shining armor. - Wears some limited, flexible armor. The metal is visibly foreign, scrapped together with parts of its defeated foes. The parts of the original set are cracked and dull, yet very strong for something so clearly ancient. How old is this thing? - Seems to have something going on with its mask, that thing is very tough for a clump of painted porcelain and its subtle markings can't be for nothing.

Ryeo chilling with her tarot cards
Drama: Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016)
Starring: Lee Joon Gi, IU, Ji Soo, Baek Hyun, Kang Ha Neul, Nam Joo Hyuk
Rating: ★★★★★
I loved this drama so much it has made it onto my all times favorites list.
The push and the pull between the 8th Prince (Kang Ha Neul) and HaeSoo (IU) in the beginning made my heart flutter. But the love story between the 4th Prince (Lee Joon Gi) and HaeSoo (IU) made my heart ache-- a good ache.
This drama is so good, there are so many twists and turns you won’t see coming and it will your heart hurt, eyes cry, and your emotions crumble.
*SPOILERS AHEAD* Let’s dive into some of my favorite moments from the drama.
