S.H.I.E.L.D!141 au, Peter Parker doesn't seem to know when to let himself rest
Peter who ends up crashing in the helicarriers staff sleeping quarters after going 3 days without sleep. He sat down while Fury was talking to him about something and just stay awake.
Fury has Soap and Gaz haul the boy off to a room that doesn't have a resident. The two huff about him being irresponsible— what if he'd been in the city when this happened? He could have hurt himself!!
Peter wakes up confused, he's still in his suit, and in a room that definitely wasn't his.. but the S.H.I.E.L.D insignia on the door at least lets him know he's safe. There's a bottle of water and a couple granola bars next to the bed.
When he walks out, trying to fix his mask, empty granola wrappers and empty bottles crinkling his other hand, he walks square into someones chest. Fury.. already starting back up on what he'd been saying before Peter fell asleep hours earlier.
He got an earful from everyone. Aunt May for coming home late and not answering her texts and calls, Soap and Gaz over them having to haul him around, Fury for pushing himself like that, and his team for hitting nova with a trash can in his sleepy confusion earlier that day (totally an accident..)
Turns out they’re . Like. Bisexual or something. Probably trans too, who knows.
