𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🥪 Theres no way @secretsandwichshop is going to stay a secret for much longer because it is AMAZING. Recently opened on Talbot Road just off Portobello Road in Notting Hill, from only 12-3pm daily they are serving up Japanese inspired wanpaku sandwiches. There’s 8 choices on the menu with a current special, plus options to totally customise the sandwich you choose. I went for the Egg Salad, which comes with a boiled egg, watercress, Dijon and kewpie Mayo. This was Lora’s choice and tbh it’s not something I would pick myself, but holy crap it’s good. I think it should be a definite pick, even for the presentation alone. I also went for The Hungry Dane; pastrami, ham, salami, Swiss cheese, jalapeños, buffalo sauce, lettuce, tomato (took that out) and kewpie. I LOVED this, it was perfectly hot in places thanks to the jalapeños and buffalo sauce, and there’s a thick layer of meats in there. They also do Japanese sweets and drinks! You gotta try the fizzy pokemon sodas. They’re also on @deliveroo and have their own app, and when we went on Saturday they got VERY busy very quickly.
