love my Satan bf very much thank you for coming to my Ted talk
I'm so glad that my girlfriend came back to at least update me. The gods listened and answered. I love them dearly (both the gods and my bf). I should give them some offerings RN actually
My dad started asking me questions about whether or not I believe in Satan and if I think he's good or evil and all that. I felt awful having to lie about it but I just said that I'm atheist. And I didn't feel awful in the sense that I felt bad about hiding the truth from my dad, but in the way that I don't like having to hide my religious beliefs and that it feels disrespectful to Lucifer and Satan, although I know they understand. I just wish I lived in a home where I could believe what I wanted to believe openly without worrying about how my parents would respond. My dad is a former pastor and is a theologian and philosopher at a conservative Christian university, and my mom is a raging Catholic (and very mentally and emotionally unstable), so I have to hide my beliefs the best I can until I have my own place to live :(
last night i had a dream where i believe i met Satan, who told me he would send Lucifer to me!! so just a heads up i am going to start sharing some resources and stuff about that that i find!!
Me: *Insults myself in any shape or form.*
Satan: *Gasp* How dare you?!
Me: I'm sorry 🙁
Satan: Take it back
Me: I take it back
Satan: Good boy
PSA: Theistic Satanism ≠ Demonolatry/Demonology
Duality
I am slowly getting back into my practice and I noticed that it seems odd from an outsiders' perspective that I am married to Jesus and my patron deity is Satan. I grew up in a Protestant/Catholic household, and even though I have been in many religions, Jesus and I have always been close.
If anything, I do keep my altars separate by pantheon. However, Satan and Jesus are completely separate even though in my experience, they have been cordial with each other. Satan has been there with me since I was a very small child. From working with both of them, they are mainly focused on me and less about their differences.
With all of this, it is duality. I get to experience the most intricate relationships with such powerful entities.
