Zeparomantic — A term for people who are both aromantic (or aro-spec) and alloromantic, or are a mix of the two. For example, a person might identify as zeparomantic if:
They are on the cusp of aro-spec and alloromantic.
They experience a "grey area" of romantic attraction.
Their romance-favorability does not align with their romantic attraction in the "expected" way, such as cupioromantic, orchidromantic, etc.
Their romantic attraction fluctuates, such as abroromantic, aroflux, etc.
Their romantic orientation can otherwise be described as both alloromantic and aromantic, or on the aromantic spectrum.
Etymology, flag symbolism, and further info is below the cut.
Etymology — Originally, I called this syneparomantic on October 24, 2025. It came from syn ("with; together"), ep ("in addition to; among" or "attached to") and a ("without; not"), literally meaning "with in addition to without" romantic attraction. It was coined as an alternative to Schrödiromantic, for the same reasons that synepasexual was coined.
I then proposed that the term be updated to zeparomantic on March 6, 2026, to simplify the term and make it a bit more accessible. The etymology is roughly the same, but the prefix syn is replaced with the letter z, representing the opposite of a and referencing the term zedromantic. It can be pronounced "zeppuh" or "zeepuh" depending on personal preference; either one is correct.
Flag Symbolism — The flag takes heavy inspiration from the aromantic flag and the zepasexual flag:
Black represents aromantic people. It has a subtle green tint to indicate inclusion in the aromantic spectrum.
Green represents the entire aromantic spectrum; green is the aromantic community color.
Grey represents greyromantic, demiromantic, and other aro-spec identities that aren’t aromantic. It has a subtle green tint to indicate inclusion in the aromantic spectrum.
White represents being alloromantic.
Pink represents romantic attraction, activity, and/or favorability. This was chosen based on some of the cultural associations this color has, such as charm, tenderness, sweetness, and romance.

Someone who is asexual / aromantic and allosexual / alloromantic at the same time, or is some mix of the two. It is described via the Schrödinger’s cat thought experiment, having the possibility of being dead and alive at the same time. [source]

★ First two flags are desaturated + lightened versions of the original, second three flags are my version based on the lightened colors — etymology: [Schrö]dinger + sexual / [Schrö]dinger + ro[mantic]
Schro- / Schrodi- ( or Schrö- / Schrödi- ) : Someone who is A- and Allo- at the same time, or some mix of the two ( describing in terms of Schrödinger’s cat as having the possibility of being dead and alive at the same time )
Made because the original Schromantic flag gave me some eyestrain issues ( cw for link ), and I also wanted to make a version inspired by the Schrodigender flags having cats on them. Colors taken from the Aro and this Alloro flag.
