American actor Joshua David Duhamel was born in Minot, ND, on November 14th 1972. After an early career in modeling, he debuted in acting as Leo du Pres on ABC's All My Children, earning a Daytime Emmy Award. He later played Danny McCoy on NBC's Las Vegas.
He has played a main character in four Transformers films, including the fifth installment, Transformers: The Last Knight (2017). He has appeared in films such as Life as We Know It (2010), New Year's Eve (2011), Safe Haven (2013), and You're Not You (2014). Duhamel co-starred in the short-lived CBS crime drama Battle Creek in 2015.
He has been a tourism spokesman for North Dakota for over a decade, appearing in promotional videos. In 2022, Duhamel was paid $75,000 to represent the State's Tourism Campaign for two years.
Duhamel married Audra Mari and had a son, Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel, in January 2024. He has a son, Axl Jack Duhamel, from his previous marriage to Fergie. Due to their age differences, Duhamel was initially hesitant to date Mari after platonic friendship. He enjoys living off-grid with his family in Minnesota and connecting with nature.
